Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide the first contact for patients who call or come in to schedule an appointment or inquire about our services.
  • Screen calls, identify better hearing candidates and facilitate excellent service by providing the information necessary to secure an appointment.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments and conduct outbound retention calls to patients.
  • Coordinate provider’s schedule and ensure the smooth and efficient flow of patient care while in the office.
  • Check patients in and out, collect and record payments, track revenue and accounting activities to include: petty cash reconciliation, end of day close, bank deposits, posting of charges, entering invoices, payments and insurance claim processing.


Education and Experience Requirements :

  • High school diploma; Associates degree in administrative, accounting, sales or customer-oriented field or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years office management experience in a customer driven industry.


Required Skills:

  • Strong computer skills
  • Experience with word processing and database software.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse, patient, colleague, and vendor population. This includes listening, sales and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of accounting procedures and good math aptitude.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks within strict deadlines.
  • Ability to input and track sales revenues and balance accounts daily and monthly.

The Nurse, Individualized Care promotes high-quality patient care and treatment through patient education. + Refers patients to additional services in order to improve their treatment experiences, based on lists of referral organizations approved by each client. **Role Description**
The RN Clinical Supervisor is responsible for implementation of standard clinical processes as well as ongoing supervision of all non-imaging clinical staff at this location. The Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations and is responsible for: quality management, performance improvement and training. The Supervisor is responsible for creating effective working relationships between staff and providers and working collaboratively with, both internal and external providers and staff.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Provides day-to-day supervision of clinical staff. Serves as an organizational change agent, providing coaching to staff
+ Responds in the case of a medical emergency
+ Develops communication methods to facilitate the flow of information and maximize effective communication throughout the location.
+ Develops an effective team, motivating and influencing staff to excel. Collaborates with Front Office Supervisor and Directors to develop, implement and manage continuous Performance Improvement.
+ Ensures appropriate compliance with Clinical Practice Guidelines. Retrospectively reviewing quality report(s) and collaborating with others to act on improvement opportunities
+ Monitors clinic flow to improve efficiencies and productivity
+ Utilizes Optum Medical Group's resources to implement standard work processes
+ Covers back office staff in the event of a call-out or staff shortage
+ Works with directors and staff to ensure availability of adequate resources, supplies, equipment and services
+ Tracks and reports Daily Management System metrics
+ Participates in interviewing, hiring and managing clinical staff in conjunction with the Director of Imaging or Clinic Manager
+ Communicates performance expectations, providing regular feedback and consistently managing these expectations
+ Completes performance appraisals, promoting staff development activities, utilizing performance improvement procedures as necessary, and adhering to the company policies and procedures
+ Participates in work groups as appropriate
+ Ensures timely and accurate documentation in the patient record and input of data into outcomes database
+ Monitors patient, referring physician and customer satisfaction
+ Builds and develops effective working relationships with physicians, APC's, clinical and support staff
+ Encourages all staff to interact positively and in a spirit of good teamwork with members of other departments
+ Other duties as assigned
**Work Expectations:**
+ 51% duties are Supervisory
+ Process improvement
+ Rounding
+ Working side by side with back office employees for assessment , optimization, and direct feedback.
+ 25% duties are direct patient care working in the Urgent Care Clinic as an RN
+ 24% duties are administrative duties that might include
+ Scheduling
+ Meetings
+ 1:1 with staff

**Required Qualifications:**
+ Current Oregon LPN or RN license
+ Current healthcare level BLS/CPR certification
+ 5+ years of nursing experience, including 1+ years of supervisory experience
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, nursing, or related field, or equivalent experience
+ Experience working in an electronic medical record system
