STV is seeking a Project Manager-Higher Education for our PM/CM group in Connecticut.

The Project Manager for Higher Education will oversee the planning, design, and construction of capital projects on campus, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with the institution's quality standards. Key Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Project Planning & Design:
  • Oversee multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the institution's specifications.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and scopes of work.
  • Coordinate all phases of the project, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and post-construction activities.

  • Ensure that all punch-list items are completed to the institution's satisfaction.
  • Coordinate the transfer of building operations and maintenance information to university facilities management staff.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (required). Masters degree (preferred).
    • Skills & Competencies:

    • At least 5 years of experience in managing construction projects, with a focus on higher education or institutional projects (preferred).
    • Proven experience managing large-scale, complex construction projects.
    • Experience working with architects, contractors, and facility management teams.
    • Familiarity with applicable building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.

    • Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.

Compensation Range

**LOCATION:** Remote U.S. (West - Preference will be given to a candidate who lives in western USA).
**OVERVIEW**
You will leverage your understanding of business, financials, and customer needs to increase sales within your territory. With a higher level of authority in negotiations, you will play an important role in achieving revenue targets and cultivating lasting relationships with our customers.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Develop effective sales approaches to target key accounts.
+ Engage in in-depth negotiations with higher autonomy to close deals.
+ Manage and nurture relationships with key customer accounts.
+ Provide accurate sales forecasts and activity reports.
+ Identify and analyze market conditions to uncover sales opportunities.
+ Handle moderately complex or higher-value sales opportunities.
+ Gather and utilize customer feedback to improve sales strategies.
+ Act as a mentor and trainer for junior sales staff.
+ Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
+ Implement and refine sales techniques tailored to customer needs.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Education:** Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
**Experience:** 5+ years higher ed sales experience, enterprise level experience preferred.
+ Strategic Planning: Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
+ Negotiation Tactics: Advanced negotiation skills for closing complex deals.
+ Customer Insight: Deep understanding of customer needs and preferences.
+ Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to analyze and interpret sales data.
+ Sales Software: Proficient use of advanced CRM and sales management tools.
+ Team Collaboration: Skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

**Compensation:**
Target salary range CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $95,560 - $133,750
