Overview

The Director of Human Resources , in partnership with OVG Corporate Human Resources, is responsible for the overall talent strategy and development for UBS Arena. This position provides the full scope of human resources services to all departments of the venue including recruitment, training, payroll oversight, benefits, job evaluations, leave administration, salary analysis, organizational structure and position allocation, and organizational development activities. This role will pay an annual salary of $130,000-$155,000 and is bonus eligible.

Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic partnerships with the Arena and across Oak View Group.

  • Cultivating and monitoring company culture via multiple avenues, to support the attainment of the company's goals and promote employee satisfaction and retention.

The role includes, but is not limited to the following: Deputy to the Global Head of Human Resources to oversee the US team and global initiatives Leading strategic initiatives relating to all HR Operations including Global Benefits, US Payroll, HRIS System Management, Onboarding Strategy, Data & Analytics, and local programs Driving forward Global HR programs and processes to ensure the desired objectives and outcomes are attained Overseeing global employee handbook process and working with WorldQuant Leadership on drafting guidelines, policies, and procedures Analyzing, building, and delivering HR Reporting data to proactively identify and address trends and issues Conducting internal investigations of employee complaints and advising on workplace issues and disciplinary actions including terminations, workforce reductions, and strategic initiatives Providing guidance based on strong knowledge of applicable employment laws and practices to ensure all necessary legal documentation, compliance, and controls are in place (in liaison with the legal department where applicable) Coaching managers on a variety of HR issues and general employee management; escalate issues to Global Head of HR when required Providing and assist with the implementation of creative ideas to enhance employee productivity and engagement Preparing internal communications regarding to communicate company policies and procedures What You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s degree or higher Minimum 15+ years’ HR experience at a global firm, financial services industry preferred Knowledge of US (federal and applicable state) employment laws Experience leading a small team of US-based HR professionals Strong interpersonal and service skills – this role will involve both significant interaction with employees, senior managers, and external vendors (in-person and over video-conference as needed) Good sense of judgment and decision-making skills Ability to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment High sense of urgency and attention to detail Strong experience analyzing and reporting on HR data Strong knowledge and familiarity with Excel Ability to multi-task as well as meet short deadlines in a fast paced environment Demonstrates thoroughness and strong ownership of work Good communicator with the ability to effectively communicate up, down, and across levels of the organization Good team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others Core Benefits: Fully paid medical and dental insurance for employees and dependents, flexible spending account, 401k, full paid parental leave, and generous paid time off Perks: Employee discounts for gym memberships, wellness activities etc., healthy snacks, casual dress code Training: learning and development courses, speakers, team-building off-site Employee resource groups Pay Transparency: WorldQuant is a total compensation organization where you will be eligible for a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and benefits.
