Job Summary:
Assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the Physician and/or Designee.
Essential Responsibilities:
+ Interview patients and measure vital signs and other pertinent information as required by department.

3. Good understanding of DICOM standard, structure, metadata parsing, tags, multi-frame images

4. Worked with Clinical information data standards like, SDTM, ADaM

5. Data integration across diverse data sources, e.g. imaging data with tabular clinical data

6. De-identification methodologies, PHI/PII detection and privacy controls

7. Good understanding of GXP and CSV validation frameworks

8. Proficient in Python, its libraries : pandas , pydicom, SimpleITK , dicom-numpy, dcm2niix

9. Hands on experience with ETL/ELT involving large medical imaging datasets

10. Apache Airflow, Spark, Talend or similar orchestration of complex workflows.

11. Proficiency with SQL and noSql , and image meta data stores. (PostgreSQL, Mongo Etc)

12. Practical experience with AWS infrastructure Data services , e.g. RDS, Athena, Glue , EC2 Lambda, S3 .

13. Familiar with EKS, Docker , and HPC

14. Experience in data analysis and report generation, e.g Tibco, Tableau, AWS Quicksite etc

This position is full time at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level and will be appointed in the Molecular Imaging Program at Stanford (MIPS) division of Radiology. Stanford University and the Department of Radiology have made substantial commitments towards the expansion of MIPS including new space at the Technology & Innovation Park and the creation of a second advanced radiochemistry facility.
Appointments will be in the University Tenure Line or Non-Tenure Line (Research). The predominant criterion for appointment in the University Tenure Line is a major commitment to research and teaching. The major criterion for appointment for faculty in the Non-Tenure Line (Research) is evidence of high-level performance as a researcher for whose special knowledge a programmatic need exists. Faculty rank and line will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
We seek applicants committed to developing a research program focused on translational medical imaging. This includes but is not limited to novel imaging instrumentation, novel chemistry/materials science for molecular imaging agent development, novel assay development, mathematical modeling, and translation of imaging strategies for clinical application. Scientists with a research focus related to radiochemistry are particularly encouraged to apply. We are interested in applicants who have multidisciplinary experience that can be applied to the development of disease detection and management approaches. The qualified candidate should have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree(s) with experience in a relevant field.
