Job Description: Pay Range: $40hr - $57.14hr Essential Job Duties: Perform initial inspection of CT and MR scans received from customers. This includes checking scan conformance rules and quality, selecting the best series for 3D model segmentation, assigning orders to segmentation technicians, prioritizing assignments according to surgery dates and organ types, and documenting scans that are not suitable for 3D segmentation. Provide in-process consultation for segmentation technicians. This includes providing imaging interpretation and checking segmentation accuracy. Perform final QC for segmented 3D models prior to delivery. This includes ensuring the final 3D models displayed correctly in the App viewer and the final 3D models meet customer expectations. Provide clinical expertise in medical imaging interpretation applied to segmentation of patient scans from CT and MR. Assist process engineers for testing cases and validation cases. Report issues with scans received from I3DM orders for engineering teams to troubleshoot. Support discussions with customer imaging facilities to identify potential scan protocol changes that can result in improved 3D model quality. Communicate clinical expertise on medical image quality and interpretation to improve segmentation team knowledge. Help CT acquisition for clinical development labs (provide suggestions for scan parameters). Qualifications: Required Skills and Experience (Specific skills, knowledge, and experience that an individual must possess to successfully perform in job). Minimum 8 years of professional experience with a University degree, or 6 years experience with a Master’s degree, with a clinical focus area related medical imaging (CT and MR) interpretation, or 3 years of clinical experience with a Registered Radiologist Assistant (RRA) degree. Familiar with CT and MR scanning protocols (thoracic, abdominal and pelvic). Experience with case management in a clinical setting, including operational efficiencies in clinical trials and effective communications with clinicians. Active Radiography credential from the XX Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Preferred experience in 3D and multi-planar reformatting. Preferred experience in interpretation of radiologic images (CT and MR) of the human body (thoracic, abdominal and pelvic), or active ARRT (CT) and (MR) credentials. Position: Data Engineer with Medical Imaging

Location : San Francisco, CA (4 days on prem at client location)

Experience: 10+ years' experience

Mandatory Skills: Medical Imaging, Data engineering, Python

Key Responsibilities:
•Imaging Data Pipeline delivery : Design, implement and maintain automated pipelines for onboarding, verifying, transforming and curating biomedical imaging data from clinical trials and real world data sources, for therapeutic areas, Oncology, Neurology, Ophthalmology covering all image file formats.
•Data Quality and Integrity : Develop and implement solutions to detect and correct anomalies and inconsistencies, to achieve highest data quality of the imaging data set, per industry standards DICOM, and internal specifications like FFS, RTS, GDSR, etc. Ensure de-identification, PHI/PII controls, and image specific QC checks are implemented at scale.
•Data Analysis and integration : Integrate ML and AI assisted tools in the pipelines for inline image analysis, classifications, segmentations, to extract and enrich metadata for various analyses, optimize performance etc.
•Image Data Management : Build and maintain large scale catalogs of curated imaging data sets enhancing FAIR principles, and providing easy to Client and access imaging data assets.
•Compliance and Controls : Ensure applicable compliance and privacy controls are followed as required GXP, CSV validations.
•Collaboration: Working closely with Image scientists, data scientists, clinops, and biomarker research teams, supporting data needs for various primary and secondary endpoint analyses.
•External collaboration: Work with external partners e.g. CROs in ensuring the imaging data received conforms to the established agreements and quality standards and complete.
•Lead to the delivery team to ensure timely delivery of product backlog / features
•Participate with the team and lead various agile ceremonies throughout the planning and execution.

Ideal candidate would have, (multiple competencies from list below);

1. Worked with medical imaging data and platforms, PACS, VNAs etc.

2. Worked with imaging Radiology data e.g. CT, PET, MRI, nifti and Ophtha imaging OCT, FA,CFP etc.

3. Good understanding of DICOM standard, structure, metadata parsing, tags, multi-frame images

4. Worked with Clinical information data standards like, SDTM, ADaM

5. Data integration across diverse data sources, e.g. imaging data with tabular clinical data

6. De-identification methodologies, PHI/PII detection and privacy controls

7. Good understanding of GXP and CSV validation frameworks

8. Proficient in Python, its libraries : pandas , pydicom, SimpleITK , dicom-numpy, dcm2niix

9. Hands on experience with ETL/ELT involving large medical imaging datasets

10. Apache Airflow, Spark, Talend or similar orchestration of complex workflows.

11. Proficiency with SQL and noSql , and image meta data stores. (PostgreSQL, Mongo Etc)

12. Practical experience with AWS infrastructure Data services , e.g. RDS, Athena, Glue , EC2 Lambda, S3 .

13. Familiar with EKS, Docker , and HPC

14. Experience in data analysis and report generation, e.g Tibco, Tableau, AWS Quicksite etc

15. Good knowledge of Git, Gitlab and DevOps tools like Jenkins, Terraform

16. Familiar with using ML workflows for Computer Vision tasks like segmentation, classification, etc.

17. Nice to have: implemented solutions on NLP and GenAI

18. Worked with cross functional global teams in a dynamic Agile environment

19. Lead and mentor agile team members.

20. Has 10+ years of experience with data platforms, analysis and insights

Educational Qualifications: -

Engineering Degree - BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.

Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.
