The Operations Project Manager (Logistics End-to-End) will plan and lead investment projects and coordinate contribution of all stakeholders from investment project charter through vertical start-up and agreed sustained performance is established across all of Nespresso US-Based Warehouses. This role will manage cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams to achieve project-defined capability to support the business in one or more of the following areas: Delight the Consumers, Excel in Compliance, and/or Get a Competitive Advantage, by assuring that the invested resources bring the return of investment expected with a flawless execution. This role will work a hybrid-based schedule and can be located in: Bethlehem, PA; Tampa, FL; Dallas/Forth Worth, TX; Riverside, CA; Seattle, WA; Kenosha, WI; Oakland, CA or New York City, NY.
**Responsibilities:**
Prior to Project Design Phase
- Define the project scope, success criteria, and milestone deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Build the investment project charter that includes the resources plan including a multifunctional project team required to accomplish the project targets.
- Ensure available standards and best practices are revised as part of the project planning
Project Design Phase
- Execute the basic and detailed design of the project based on Nestlé Corporate Business Principles, Nestlé standards, local regulations, the defined User Requirements Specifications and the TPM characteristics of a unit operation (safety, quality, affordability, maintainability, operability and reliability).
- Ensure by design the workers, and operators, safety during both the construction and the ongoing operation of the plant.
- Support the design team to accomplish the basic and detailed design, whilst mobilizing all the required resources and liaising with stakeholders.
- Lead VSED activity and coordinate the preparation of supply chain concept.
- Support the Development of an Operation Start-up Plan to ensure a Vertical Start-up can be achieved.
- Ensure the required design reviews are effective and collaborative to gain final alignment on the basic design.
Project Implementation Phase
- Lead the team and coordinate the contribution of all stakeholders to ensure the project is implemented in accordance with the defined timing, cost and quality, required corporate and category standards (i.e., URS ) and the characteristics of a unit operation.
- Ensure that all the elements of the project is performed in such a way that safety is always guaranteed in the whole value chain of the project and a vertical start-up is ensured.
- Manage the required interactions outside of Nestlé to verify that the external resources for the projects (i.e., permits) are available.
- Manage the procurement activities and supplier PO/invoice management (P.O. approval to approved limit).
- Prepare for the assets and operation for start-up phase of the project.
Start-Up Phase of the Project
- Lead the team and coordinate stakeholder contributions to ensure a vertical start-up meeting manufacturing excellence criteria and required production volumes.
- Complete a smooth handover to operations after the qualification and verification of the installation.
- Support the preparation and distribution of the project documentation, including the project final report, Project Defect Analysis (PDA) and feedback to the Maintenance Prevention System.
- Ensure that the investment project charter has been fulfilled and that the project scope is achieved within the agreed cost and timing.
- Manage the allocation of all expenditure to clearly defined assets and the entry into the asset register.
Throughout the Project Lifecycle
- Serve as the project team leader focused on integrating, motivating, feed backing, coaching, developing, managing and evaluating team members and being their support and liaison with the steering committee and all the project's stakeholders.
- Define the project change management plans. Determine the need for change requests, and either approve or reject changes as authorized or submit them to the SC.
- Ensure that the highest principles of ethical conduct on behalf of the community, consumer, company and the engineering profession are adhered to.
- Keep all stakeholders informed and trigger extraordinary steering committee meetings as needed. Keep all the required communication channels open. Ensure that the procedures for protecting Nestlé's technological and proprietary know how are in place and actively being implemented.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management and/or in a related field required.
- 5+ years of work in experience in Project Management supporting Operations, Logistics, Engineering or in a related field required (equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred).
- Knowledge of Project Management fundamentals (end-to=end), including the understanding of contracts, construction law, permitting requirements and certification procedures.
- Managing Capital Investment projects in the fulfillment industry required.

The Sr. Engineer will oversee facility projects of varying sizes and complexity, ranging from greenfield/new construction to major renovations and minor upgrades of existing facilities. This position requires the ability to manage projects from the conceptual engineering phase through construction completion. Interaction with all Grifols' Departments, Vendors, and Contractors is critical for project success. The Sr. Engineer independently performs most assignments and provides direction for the project team to achieve facility project objectives and ensure resources are utilized efficiently. The position requires an understanding of project requirements to ensure projects are in compliance with cGMP design, applicable codes, and environmental laws, rules, and regulations.
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Manage facility project design and construction by coordinating, reviewing, and administering the work of Architects, Engineers, Consultants, and Contractors.
+ Create cost management solutions for facility projects. Manage vendors, engineers, and consultants to ensure facility projects are completed on budget and per schedules.
+ Responsible for project management, project planning, budgeting, cost control, value engineering, and project cost analyses.
+ Review and evaluate bid proposals/estimates with procurement.
+ Manage facility projects and project planning efforts, including both new installations and upgrades to existing facilities.
+ Ensure projects are in compliance with local/state/federal codes and regulations, including OSHA, FDA, Fire, Building/Safety, etc.
+ Track and evaluate critical data to recommend continuous process improvement.
+ Maintain communication between department management and all cross-functional teams.
+ Manage multiple local contractors to complete work in donor centers across the company.
+ Authorize and negotiate work proposals/estimates with local contractors.
+ Flexible travel with a potential of up to 25% travel required.

Pay scale of $95,927.00 - $143,890.00 per year for US candidates depending on training, education and experience. This position is eligible to participate in up to 8% of the company bonus pool.
