The Director of Influencer and Social Media Marketing will serve as head of influencer, organic social and paid amplification (boosting) strategy, performance and go-to-market integration for all brands within the Vail Resorts portfolio.

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Create engaging content tailored to each platform that aligns with our brand voice and marketing goals.
- Monitor social media channels for trends and insights through social listening techniques.
- Utilize tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and Google Analytics to track performance metrics and optimize campaigns.
- Conduct keyword research to enhance SEO efforts and improve content visibility.
- Collaborate with graphic designers to produce visually appealing graphics using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator).
- Manage Facebook Advertising campaigns to increase reach and engagement.
- Engage with followers through relationship management practices, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
- Conduct proofreading of all content before publication to ensure accuracy and adherence to branding guidelines.
- Stay updated on industry trends in digital marketing, e-commerce, public relations, and video editing techniques.

Key Responsibilities
1. Social Platform Operations & Content Management
- Build and manage brand accounts on major U.S. social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.), ensuring consistent voice and visual identity across channels
- Own the content calendar and publishing schedule; drive content frequency and consistency with timely, relevant posts tailored to each platform
- Create and manage high-impact visual and video content that sparks user engagement and aligns with platform best practices
2. Topic Development & Campaign Planning
- Monitor social trends, cultural moments, and platform algorithms to ideate content hooks and campaign angles
- Plan and execute viral content themes (e.g., wellness trends, health challenges, product education) to increase impressions, saves, and shares
- Collaborate with creator/affiliate teams to build full-funnel communication loops (e.g., creator seeding → official amplification → UGC challenge)
3. Community Engagement & Interaction
- Monitor and respond to comments and DMs to enhance community engagement, address user concerns, and maintain brand voice consistency
- Activate conversations that grow meaningful engagement (likes, comments, shares), foster audience trust, and drive conversion intent
4. Content Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Track and analyze post-level performance (views, CTR, engagement rate), fan base growth, and content-driven conversions (social-to-site UVs, orders, GMV contribution)
- Produce weekly and monthly recap reports with insights, benchmarking TikTok & Reels virality
- Optimize content strategy based on A/B testing results, scroll behavior, and platform analytics feedback
Qualifications & Requirements
Must-Have
- Min.2 years of hands-on experience in social media marketing, ideally for a DTC brand in health, wellness, or consumer goods
- Strong familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube content formats, trends, and algorithm dynamics in the U.S. market
- Proven ability to grow social accounts, drive interactions, and link content to sales performance
- Strong copywriting and storytelling skills tailored to different platforms and consumer segments
- Experience using tools like Meta Business Suite, TikTok Creator Center, or Sprout Social to manage publishing and analyze performance
Nice-to-Have
- Background in community building or creator collaboration to amplify brand reach
- Familiarity with U.S. health & supplement trends and ability to translate product attributes into compelling social narratives
