Under general direction, this position is responsible for evaluating and implementing programs, tools, policies and procedures regarding inventory management, control, monitoring, and practices to meet project and production requirements. Reviews, evaluates, and may approve purchase requisitions, transfer of stock, shortages, and expedites. **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Represents Production Control at daily Change Control Board meetings
+ Act as key stakeholder, providing Change Notice approval, once inventory/material analysis has occurred
+ Role ensures appropriate change activity and part disposition
+ Fundamental to the Engineering Hold (EHO) Process
+ Provides approval
+ Notifies Operations when a hold is placed or released
+ Analyzes and resolves routine and non-routine obsolete and excess inventory issues.
+ May review and analyze ABC codes and order policies of parts
+ May review, analyze, and resolve conflicts in supply and demand, and investigates as required
+ Presents findings and recommended solutions to management.
+ Develops reports and procedures for inventory monitoring and control. May coordinate with ITS in developing inventory data collection reports.
+ Maintains, implements and assists in the development of inventory control programs to ensure project(s) and production requirements are met on time and within budget.
+ Reviews and evaluates inventory control policy and procedures, and makes recommendations for changes.
+ May analyze and maintain sufficient inventory levels to meet production, Hi-time and repair requirements, while maintaining inventory level in accordance with management guidelines.
+ Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
+ Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.

Job Title: Inventory AnalystJob Description
This position manages service part inventory for medium and slow-moving parts to ensure appropriate inventory levels while maintaining a high service level to our dealer network. The role involves total coordination of these parts, which includes forecasting, order projection, order placement, supplier expediting, and reporting. Data analysis is required to identify part issues or trends that need to be addressed. Participation in special projects is also part of the role.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct demand forecasting, inventory control, and ordering of service replacement parts while maintaining months of supply within set KPI targets.
+ Expedite supplier delivery to improve inventory conditions, recover stock outs, and maintain service level within set KPI targets.

The Associate Inventory Analyst will assist the team of Inventory Analysts in supporting the inventory needs of the US Sales Force. This position will report directly to the Director of Field Asset Management and work within cross functional teams between Operations, Finance, IT, Sales and Product Development.

+ Analyzing the performance of Field Sales in the use of Consigned Sets, Item Consignments and Loaners by acting to retrieve Inventory where not justified
+ Functioning as a conduit/expediter at times when critical Inventory is needed to support specific surgeries and Loaners not available
+ Maintaining database of business knowledge to support field with appropriate inventory
+ Assisting in managing area's trauma inventory to best support on-call customers and local trauma centers
+ Maintaining accurate inventory records by following through on transfers, addressing and reconciling inventory discrepancies, and serving as a point person in the close-out process
+ Preparing weekly and monthly reports for evaluating inventory needs, ensure inventory is allocated to appropriately cover these needs
+ Obtaining information regarding upcoming on-boarding that may require modification to forecasting
+ Working with team members to assist in supporting inventory needs on a national level

+ Quality Control (QC) samples and applicable documentation to ensure accuracy and integrity of the inventory and/or shipments.
+ Coordinate with management and clients about any sample discrepancies.
+ Perform all duties according to SOPs, Facility Safety Guidelines, and FDA requirements, including compliance with cGMP CFR 21 parts 210 and 211 where applicable.
+ Proficiently maintain, query, and update multiple inventory management databases.
+ Produce client-specific database reports in the format and frequency requested by clients.
+ Receive, process, and store biological specimens using various database applications.
+ Retrieve samples from inventory for shipment and generate all applicable documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments.
+ Assess supplies needed for the repository and aid in the request and purchase of said items, as applicable.
+ Receive inventory discrepancy notifications from the internal ops team or clients and run investigations to reconcile discrepancies.
+ Perform inventory analysis to plan, propose, track, and lead inventory consolidation projects or other material movement activities.
+ Support, plan, and perform internal specimen consolidation and reconciliation projects under the mentorship of Supervision/Management.
+ Coordinate with repository technicians as needed.
+ Participate in process improvement activities.
+ May be required to travel to other facilities and assume other duties to meet business needs.
+ Submit and track IT tickets related to the inventory management system to process and complete shipping and receiving requests.
**Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:**
Education/Training:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent experience and 4+ years of work experience with data entry, shipping/receiving, and sample management.
+ A Degree or equivalent experience in Life Sciences is preferable.
**Business Experience:**
+ Four or more years of repository inventory and operational experience.
**Knowledge/Skills:**
+ Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) preferred.
+ IATA training in Dangerous Goods Shipping.
+ Digital Literacy: MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
+ Database Experience (MS Access and BSI a plus).
+ Knowledge of handling, processing, and storage of specimens using a computerized storage and retrieval system.
**Working Conditions:**
Environment - Office and Warehouse.
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Able to lift 50 pounds.
+ Able to handle materials frozen on dry ice (-78°C) or liquid nitrogen (-195°C) for up to 6 hours per day.
+ Able to work using Nitrile Gloves and other Personal Protective Equipment.

**Compensation and Benefits**
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $21.76-$32.80.
