Job Description
The Card Services Finance team, within Card Finance, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Card Association Management team (CAM). The CAM Finance team is responsible for supporting all aspects of our credit card payment processing networks (Visa & Mastercard), including full ownership of network fees and benefits expense forecasting and reporting, as well as performing ad hoc analysis in support of interchange rate and product optimization and efficiencies within the space. This role includes data analysis, forecasting, and strategic partnership with the business, where storytelling on top of a deep understanding of the complex revenue and cost components of interchange and network expenses will be needed.
The ideal candidate is someone who is analytically curious, enjoys financial analytics, and is excited to help drive an important and continually expanding aspect of the Card business. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will work for a company that invests in ways to tell stories, view trends, and diagnose results in a more compelling and visual nature. Senior Financial Analysts perform financial data analysis in preparing Profit & Loss or other statements and frequently build reports for higher level associates. They provide management and business clients with project statuses as well as perform reporting and analysis to support presentations and ad-hoc requests.
The role requires strong analytical, communication, problem solving, strategic thinking, and influencing skills in order to effectively:
- Conduct analysis and articulate outcomes and relevant insights
- Develop presentations to senior audiences to communicate insights and to influence business and financial outcomes
- Partner with business teams to assess the financial implications of ongoing and proposed efforts to optimize business performance
- Foster trusted business partnerships
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Financial reporting and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting, and Profit & Loss (P&L) management
- Coordinate and collect input data from Financial Analysts in different departments, check data integrity, summarize and convert data, run models, verify, analyze, and communicate output data
- Assist in development of business presentations to communicate analysis results to senior audiences; clearly articulate outcomes of analysis to leadership teams
- Independently manage and prioritize workload
- Address and deliver on ad-hoc requests and special projects, often in an ambiguous environment

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- At least 2 years' experience in financial analysis

· Maintains consolidated company 3 statement model through collaboration with treasury team
· Works closely with the accounting team to ensure all aspects of the financial close process are orderly and contributes towards the accuracy of the financial results as reported in the company financial statements

· Identifies, recommends and implements continuous improvement and process transparency
· Assists in the long-range financial planning process

**Qualifying Experience**
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline required. MBA highly preferred
· 6+ years of work experience with progressively increasing responsibility, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required. Preferably has been part of a world class FP&A organization and has shown sustained career progress
· FP&A experience, including business partnership with senior executive leadership, highly preferred
· Understanding of financial accounting including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow along and financial modeling concepts such as discounted cash flow, IRR, cost of capital, etc.

Position Summary
This role will serve as a strategic finance partner that will drive resource planning and strategy, guiding teams through intelligent investments that will grow and scale the business. You will be responsible for building processes around managing and tracking headcount and other cost drivers, as well as providing analyses that will influence and enable teams to evaluate trade-offs in investments and priorities. Position Summary:
This role will serve as a strategic finance partner that will drive resource planning and strategy, guiding teams through intelligent investments that will grow and scale the business. You will be responsible for building processes around managing and tracking headcount and other cost drivers, as well as providing analyses that will influence and enable teams to evaluate trade-offs in investments and priorities. You will be directly involved in driving various planning cycles (annual planning, quarterly forecasts, and monthly outlooks), which will include partnering with cross-functional teams to execute financial and operational deliverables. In addition to modeling and forecast work, this role will also frequently present the analytical outputs in various stakeholder meetings. The overall type of work ranges from recurring routine analysis to one-off projects that can be very varied in nature. This role will report to the Vice President of FP&A.

The pay range for this position is $69,000 - $124,600 with **anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range** and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln's standard benefits package.
