**Responsibilities**
Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. As the Field CTO, you will be responsible for channeling the client experiences of Ensono services to Ensono's Product Organization, thereby positively transforming our processes, people, technology and culture. **Client Engagement:**
+ Establishes working relationships with current Global Financial Services (GFS) customer executives and thereby understands business priorities and IT needs.
+ Participates in GFS account IT planning activities, collaborates with client leaders at all levels, and provides insights regarding opportunities regardless of whether they relate directly to Ensono opportunities.
**Technology Strategy:**
+ Incorporates Ensono services into recommendations that have genuine value for clients and works with individual teams and Global Delivery and Capability leaders in defining and delivering contracted services and projects. + Mainframe and IBM i Technology and Services

**Solution Development:**
+ Participates in the development of both standard and custom technology solutions to meet specific client requirements including pricing and commercial modeling.
+ Provides deep technical expertise during client presentations and discussions.
**Collaboration:?**
+ Works with Ensono product management to improve the performance of Ensono services and to generate and demonstrate greater value and consistently contribute to improving client satisfaction. Stays focused on application scenarios and use cases while planning innovations and considering future technologies.
+ Participates with solution architects in solution design by providing detailed alignment to client outcomes
+ Supports solution delivery managers (SDMs) through client executive relationship influence?
**Technical Evangelism:**
+ Actively promote the company's technology solutions to all current GFS customers.
+ Participates in industry events, webinars, and conferences to showcase expertise and thought leadership.
+ Establishes industry ecosystem partnerships to enhance Ensono's service portfolio in partnership with Product and broaden the range of client outcomes delivered
+ Participates in Ensono strategic business planning, service excellence and improvement and applied innovation programs, to incorporate client experience into Ensono improvement and strategic initiatives.
**Operational Oversight:**
+ Oversees the implementation of technological solutions to ensure they meet client expectations.
+ Monitors the performance and effectiveness of deployed solutions and makes necessary adjustments.
+ In addition, the successful Field CTO candidate will possess a deep understanding and leverageable skills in two areas:
+ Client Executive Communications:?The ability to gain access and demonstrate Ensono's value with all GFS customer 'C' level executives.
+ "Real world" knowledge of IT technologies including platform, business applications, digital services, and integrations generally and within the GFS vertical.
The Field CTO combines these areas of expertise to address the client's key IT and business challenges, focus areas and business objectives, and can specify business value from the client's perspective. This role requires an intimate understanding of client behaviors, drivers and values through data analytics, qualitative means, living the client's life, plus virtual and in person social interactions.
The ideal candidate will have the following additional skills and experience:
+ Extensive financial service industry experience, preferably in a senior leader role with referenceable relationships and experiences
+ Ability to gain access and build trust and communicate effectively with senior leaders
+ Broad knowledge of IT technologies including mainframe, cloud, networking, storage, application development, security, and industry relevant SaaS applications
+ Experience as technical lead for a major technology implementation or technical project / program
+ Experience with process and experience improvement initiatives, providing feedback, and measuring results
+ Extensive experience with industry ecosystems players
+ Bachelor's degree in a technology related field or equivalent experience
+ Consultative selling knowledge/experience
+ Ability to understand customer specific business operations, strategies, objectives, and needs and then translating these into requirements and the basis for compelling solutions
+ Experience in working with large IT Infrastructure service delivery

**What You'll Do**
As a New Logo Acceleration Account Executive at Teradata, you will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with key prospects, understanding their unique challenges, and positioning Teradata Products and offerings tailored as data-driven solutions to address their needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful positioning of Teradata's products and services, fostering New Customer, and long-term partnerships.
+ Client Relationship Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within financial services companies. Understand their business objectives, pain points, and opportunities to position Teradata as a trusted advisor.
+ Solution Selling: Collaborate with Industry Experts (IE), Solution Engineers (SE), Inside Sales Representatives (ISR) to design and present data analytics solutions that align with financial services clients' and persona-aligned strategic goals. Articulate the value proposition of Teradata's products and services to meet client needs effectively.
+ Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve New Logo sales, revenue targets, and services sales objectives within the financial services sector. Identify opportunities for reference selling, upselling, cross-selling, to allow new customer attainment.
+ Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, challenges, and innovations within the financial services industry. Leverage this knowledge to provide thought leadership and recommend solutions that address industry-specific pain points.
+ Pipeline Management: Maintain a detailed and accurate pipeline of opportunities in the financial services sector. Utilize the company's CRM tools to track progress, forecast revenue, and manage communication with clients.
+ Negotiation and Closing: Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and proposal development processes. Work closely with legal and finance teams to ensure terms and agreements are in line with company policies and client expectations.
+ Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including solution architects, data scientists, consultants, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery and exceptional client experience.
+ Market Intelligence: Provide insights and feedback to the company about market trends, competitive landscape, and client needs in the financial services industry. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Teradata's offerings.
**Who You'll Work With**
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful positioning of Teradata's products and services, fostering New Customer, and long-term partnerships.
**What Makes You a Qualified Candidate**
+ Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
+ 2+ years of software sales experience
+ Proven track record of success in cloud, data, and analytics focused product, particularly within the financial services sector. Experience with data analytics, IT solutions, or consulting is highly desirable.
+ Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Pay Rate: 230800.000 - 288400.000 - 346100.000 On-Target Earnings
Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on geographic location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and candidate experience. Sales roles will be eligible for commission payments tied to quota achievement. All other permanent roles will be eligible for one of our annual incentive plans, which are based on company financial attainment and individual performance.
