Job Summary:

The Sales Associate reports to the Store Manager and are tasked with performing various duties to serve customers and to keep stores running safely and efficiently to achieve a profitable store location and holding to Hollywood Feeds #1 Policy "Do what is right by the customer."

Sales Associate Key Responsibilities:
  • Greeting and assisting customers daily according to the Hollywood Feed customer service standards.
  • Demonstrate the ability and knowledge to thoroughly explain the store products to best meet the pet and customer needs.
  • Communicate openly and respectfully with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Effectively operate both independently and as a part of a team.
  • Expected to have open and weekend availability.
  • Employees will be required to unload truck pallets and stock shelves.
  • Expected to learn the Hollywood Feed point-of-sale system to:

    Job Title: Sales Associate

    Overview: The Sales Associate (SA) role is responsible for running all "front of house" fitness studio operations The SA has a strong focus on a premier customer experience, as well as meeting sales expectations. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills and basic sales experience. The SA is responsible for meeting and exceeding all key performance sales indicators for the fitness studio, including membership sales and renewals, retail sales, maximizing workout traffic, and maintaining premium customer experience levels.

    Job Duties Include:
  • Maintains accurate records using established OTF sales systems.
  • Responsible for conducting a minimum of 40 calls per shift to prospective members, scheduling at least 4 appointments daily, and generating 10 self generated leads daily.
  • Complete all shift duties & cleaning tasks according to the daily checklist
  • Maintains an organized and clean lobby/front desk area
  • Responsible for processing accurate credit card transactions
  • Follow up and follow through activities with all prospective clients
  • Works closely with Coaches to ensure that processes are fulfilled
  • Responsible for attending and participating in all relative OTF training programs
  • Attend weekly team meeting & one marketing event per quarter
  • Handle & resolve client account concerns/questions
  • Job Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Previous sales experience with strong sales skills (experience working in a quota bearing role highly preferred)
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills required
  • Able to multitask and excel in a busy work environment
  • Functional computer skills required - MS Office programs (Word, Excel), internet, computer program software use
  • Health and fitness minded required
  • High school diploma required
  • Flexible to work mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekend hours as needed
  • Reporting Structure: Studio Leader Performance appraisal: 30 Day, 60 Day, 90 Day, and then bi-annually
