**What You'll Do:** As a Food Prep Helper at Sodexo, you are a pair of helping hands and a good mood motivator. This role includes the preparation and serving of our vibrant menus?and ensuring all working areas are kept clean and tidy. Your welcoming customer service puts a smile on people's faces and makes an impact in their everyday lives.
**Responsibilities include:**
+ Reads recipes and/or product directions and assists in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods using a variety of kitchen utensils/equipment
+ Clean and sanitize work stations and production equipment
+ May have basic cooking responsibilities, i.e., cook vegetables, chicken for salads.
+ Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
+ Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
+ Assemble and prepare concession food items, including but not limited to, wrapping hot dogs, preparing nachos, filling popcorn bags, pretzels, and burgers.
+ Assemble pre-made food packages such as pizza boxes.
+ Maintain clean and organized prep stations and stands.
+ Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
+ Replenish and restock food items and supplies during events to meet demand.
+ Collaborate with cooks and other concessions team members to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
+ Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring all items meet company standards.
+ Assist in post-event cleaning.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
+ Must hold a current ServSafe Food Handling Certification.

Summary: Sell concessions to customers at various events. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Sells concessions, including soft drinks and various food items, to customers at events.
+ Serves customers in an efficient and friendly manner following outlined steps of service.
+ Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Relays relevant information to supervisor.
+ Performs sales transactions in a reasonable and timely fashion. Enters sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
+ Makes change, accepts acceptable forms of payment and issues receipts to customers. Follows standard procedures for cash handling.
+ Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring that the cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards.
+ Performs other duties such as replenishing condiments and general supplies and maintaining cleanliness concession area.
