Responsibilities
+ Executes equipment calibration, preventative maintenance, performance verification, troubleshooting and repair activities in laboratory and manufacturing areas, as required per current scheduling (CMMS) System.
+ Escorts and supervises vendors for calibration, preventative maintenance, performance verification and repair functions as required per current scheduling (CMMS) System.
+ Reviews and approves vendor executed calibration, maintenance, repair, and performance verification records for accuracy, and completeness.
+ Documents and populates calibration/maintenance information in WPT (Work Plan Template) or MDT (Measurement Data Template) using CMMS system.

The base compensation range for this role is: $106,000.00-$42,000.00. • You will maintain assigned assets, including tools, test equipment (MTE), telecommunication equipment, and service parts inventory.

Education & Qualifications:

• BA Bachelor Degree or Associate Degree in Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Electronics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline, including military experience.
• Must have 5 to 10 years of direct experience with the repair of laboratory equipment.
• Detailed knowledge of analytical equipment, laboratory environment, and/or instrument control software
• Must have a valid driver's license. While performing the duties of this position, you must always maintain safe motor vehicle operation
• Vendor issued certification on relevant laboratory equipment
• Knowledge of laboratory safety practices as defined by the Company and/or the customer's site safety code.

Working Environment:

• Must be able to work in a laboratory, controlled environments requiring personal protective equipment (e.g., lab coat, safety glasses, etc.) in laboratory.
• Job pace may be fast and job completion demands may be high.
• Must be able to remain stationary more than 25% of the time.
• You will need to occasionally move between labs, corridors, adjoining rooms, and buildings on-site. Frequently operate on instruments, objects, tools or controls, which will require regularly bending, squatting, stretching and reaching in order to perform in a service function.

Amentum is seeking a Lab / Field Equipment Technician to join our team providing laboratory support at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division.
**Lab / Field Equipment Technician Responsibilities Include:**
+ Performing E3 related laboratory or field tests
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Five (5) years of experience in E3 related laboratory or field test environment.
+ Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following specific areas: Experience in practical aspects of test, evaluation, and integration related to configuration management of RF systems.
+ Experience performing E3 related laboratory or field tests.
+ Experience with test equipment; Configuration Control; Equipment Calibration; Operating Materials & Supplies (OM&S) Inventory; Laboratory Operations; or DD Form 1149.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance.
