Responsibilities
+ Executes equipment calibration, preventative maintenance, performance verification, troubleshooting and repair activities in laboratory and manufacturing areas, as required per current scheduling (CMMS) System.

The base compensation range for this role is: $106,000.00-$42,000.00. Position Summary:
The Senior Field Service Engineer provides highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation and overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems. This role will include any aspect of field support.
You will instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the system and serve as the company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
You must be able to travel by air, vehicle, and/or other means of transportation as the business requires. Travel will vary depending on territory requirements and/or customer base, typically
Travel: 40% to 50% of the time.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- You will perform installations, maintenance, validations, and repairs while ensuring compliance with company service standards and key performance indicators.
- You will engage with customers to understand their analytical workflows and tailor service offerings, including training, support, and upgrades.
- You will enhance account profitability through efficient service execution and by identifying revenue opportunities such as billable work, consumables, and service leads.
- You will maintain assigned assets, including tools, test equipment (MTE), telecommunication equipment, and service parts inventory.
- You will enhance the company's product quality by proactively reporting improvement opportunities via the quality notification process.
- You will maintain training and compliance in areas of health and safety, security, environmental, and operational aspects of daily activities in the working environment
Education & Qualifications:
- BA Bachelor Degree or Associate Degree in Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Electronics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline, including military experience.
- Must have 5 to 10 years of direct experience with the repair of laboratory equipment.
- Detailed knowledge of analytical equipment, laboratory environment, and/or instrument control software
- Must have a valid driver's license. While performing the duties of this position, you must always maintain safe motor vehicle operation
- Vendor issued certification on relevant laboratory equipment
- Knowledge of laboratory safety practices as defined by the Company and/or the customer's site safety code.
Working Environment:
- Must be able to work in a laboratory, controlled environments requiring personal protective equipment (e.g., lab coat, safety glasses, etc.) in laboratory.
- Job pace may be fast and job completion demands may be high.
- Must be able to remain stationary more than 25% of the time.
- You will need to occasionally move between labs, corridors, adjoining rooms, and buildings on-site. Frequently operate on instruments, objects, tools or controls, which will require regularly bending, squatting, stretching and reaching in order to perform in a service function.
