Description Attorney Recruiting and Development Coordinator
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate and administer attorney recruitment. Activities include but are not limited to: collaborating with the Firm's Recruiting Chair and Committee to determine hiring needs and best ways to source candidates; managing all applications, including ensuring all required materials are obtained, routing applications to the appropriate practice group leaders, and coordinating candidate interview schedules; assembling interview materials and collecting evaluations; conducting reference checks; serving as principal point of contact for all candidates and recruiting contacts throughout the recruitment and hiring process; overseeing candidate diligence process; drafting offer letters; and responding to candidate inquiries
Coordinate and administer externships and summer associate programs. Activities include but are not limited to: developing and fostering relationships with law schools and career services personnel; reviewing candidate applications; managing the on-campus interview (OCI) process along with the Recruiting Committee and other designated attorneys; and planning, coordinating, and attending law student program events and other campus outreach programs during the year
Greet, host, and provide required information to all candidates. Coordinate and monitor candidate follow-up
Collaborate with the Firm Recruiting Chair to plan, organize, and administer the Firm's summer associate program, including work assignments, program material updates, social events, professional training, and hiring decisions
Coordinate all correspondence and recordkeeping of active and inactive candidates' information in various firm document systems and software
Maintain the Firm's internal and external recruiting resources, webpages, and databases
Keep apprised of industry and market trends and best practices, ensuring consistency of Firm recruiting policies and procedures
Collect recruiting data and respond to surveys from NALP and other organizations
Arrange and participate in Recruiting Committee meetings
Coordinate semi-annual associate review process in the legal recruiting software, LawCruit
Coordinate attorney social events and development and training events with the Firm's Mentor Committee Chair
Provide support to the Firm's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee for projects related to the Firm's initiatives, sponsorships, and events. Collaborate with Committee Chair to maintain Committee meeting agendas, attend Committee meetings, and take meeting notes
Monitor the attorney recruiting budget, approving recruiting-related expenses, and routing invoices for the same
In conjunction with Administrative Department Heads, coordinate orientation and onboarding for all incoming new attorneys, summer associates, and externs
In conjunction with the Marketing Department, develop marketing materials and gifts for law student recruiting and new attorney hiring, as necessary
Coordinate renewal of attorney bar memberships
Track and report annual attorney CLE hours
Additional duties and responsibilities as requested and assigned

RUHS-Behavioral Health is seeking a dependable and team-oriented Legal Support Assistant II (LSA II) to provide critical administrative and legal support to the Public Guardian/Probate unit, ensuring compliance with California Probate Codes and other applicable laws. This position involves processing legal documentation related to probate conservatorship cases, preparing filings for court, and supporting staff with time-sensitive legal tasks. The LSA II must be able to respond promptly to urgent court appearances and provide backup support to the Lanterman-Petris-Short (LPS) and Investigations Unit as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, process, and file legal documents for probate conservatorship cases in compliance with California Probate Code.
  • Upload legal documents and case files into the office's electronic case management system.
  • Generate, track, and maintain court receipts and proof of filing for all submitted documents.
  • Support Deputy Public Conservators with legal tasks, including scheduling court appearances, preparing exhibits, and ensuring documentation accuracy.
  • Respond to short-notice court hearings or urgent legal requests.
  • Provide backup support to the LPS and Investigation Unit's Legal Support Assistant during absences or high caseloads.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all legal and ethical standards related to conservatorship matters.

Experience: Two years of clerical experience, including one year in specialized legal services preparing and processing a variety of legal documents in a legal environment. (Completion of 360 hours of training from a recognized occupational training program in secretarial sciences, business education or a closely related field may substitute for the non-specialized clerical experience.)

Education: Graduation from high school or equivalent (e.g., GED, high school proficiency certificate).

Experience: One year as a Legal Support Assistant I with the County of Riverside.

Knowledge of: Legal terminology and legal clerical procedures, processes and the full range of standard legal documentation appropriate to the area of law supported by the position; legal procedures and practices involved in composing, processing , and filing legal documents and reports; standard legal references and their content; business English; proper formats for preparing correspondence, reports and a wide variety of legal documents; statistical and fiscal recordkeeping principles and application; proper telephone techniques; operating principles and application of modern office equipment, including word processing, computerized data systems, storage systems, and terminology.

**Responsibilities:**
+ Responsible for legal support activities related to legal operations, **litigation** , discovery or settlements

+ Prepares reports and conducts administrative legal work; may contribute to the processing of billing and/or legal settlements and/or court filings and subpoenas
+ Maintains detailed records, creates, prepares and processes legal documentation under direction of general counsel
+ May be responsible for legislative/regulatory tracking and distribution of tracking results to legal and business colleagues
+ Works closely with team's manager and legal peers to complete tasks assigned; scheduling, data entry, executing transactions, research, communications, classification/routing of documentation, assisting on investigations
+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
**Qualifications:**

This is an opportunity for an individual to enhance document management skills to provide case management and database maintenance assistance in a litigation support capacity. The Document Management Analyst (DMA I) role works closely with the Department of Justice, Health Care Fraud Division attorneys in a fast-paced setting and assist in the investigation and prosecution of various matters to enforce the laws of the United States, up to and including support assistance for witness interviews, deposition preparation, and incourtroom trial support. You will learn in a hands-on, immersive environment, which demands a commitment to both individual tasks and the overall mission of the Section. **Responsibilities:**
In addition to performing functions of Document Management Technician, as described below, performs moderately complex litigation support tasks, including, for example, detailed review and analysis of case materials in a broad range of subject matters, such as financial records, health care materials, and other litigation files; detailed indexing of case files; drafting procedures for accomplishing litigation support assignments; document acquisition related tasks; and conducting database searches. Proofreads and edits deliverable products. Sometimes serves as "team leader" for larger group of Document Management Technicians and clerical support staff. Often works with minimal supervision. Reports to Task Supervisor or Project Supervisor.
**Qualifications:**
Required:
-One year of experience on major litigation support projects or undergraduate degree.
-Certain assignments may require experience or substantial undergraduate coursework in, for example, finance/accounting, health care, or substantial experience in the legal environment or in information technology.
-Demonstrated ability to work independently in a team environment.
-Must have excellent writing skills and oral communication capabilities. -Requires hands-on familiarity with the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, data processing environments, including office automation networks, PC-based databases and other applications, internet and server-based databases and other applications, such as Oracle, Relativity or other document review platform, Trial Director, etc.
-Should be a knowledgeable user of the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheet, imaging, and hardware systems.
