ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Efficiently load and unload trailers, sort, and stack cases on pallets.
- Shrink wrap pallets for stability during transport.
- Perform tasks quickly and with precision in a fast-paced production environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area at all times.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding safety rules and operational instructions in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
- Strong numerical skills to accurately count items and perform basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Capable of following detailed written and verbal instructions with common sense problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with basic computer operations, including using Windows systems for data entry.
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Skilled in handling, moving, and manipulating boxes and cartons with hands.
- Physical ability to bend, stoop, or kneel as required throughout the shift.
- Able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds safely.
- Capacity to adjust focus for reading small text on labels and computer screens.
