Compensation range for this role is : $40,000 - $50,000.
As the Specialist, Logistics in Managed Transportation at RXO, your attention to the small details and strong work ethic will ensure our operations continue to run smoothly.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Schedule, coordinate and monitor drivers and equipment to ensure daily transportation operations run safely, efficiently and on time
- Assist in developing, planning and modifying daily schedules, and notifying customer service and the operations manager about the status of shipments
- Properly monitor shipments for customers to ensure on time, accurate and satisfactory deliveries
- Troubleshoot and proactively resolve shipment discrepancies as needed
- Enter data into the transportation management system, and maintain and generate required reports; properly process, audit and file various documentation
- Communicate with customers, employees and the management team to ensure necessary requirements are met
What you'll need to excel:
At a minimum, you'll need:
- 1 year of related experience
- General understanding or knowledge of the transportation industry
- Basic Computer Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
- Experience in transportation planning
- Knowledge of shipping software (Oracle Transportation Management)
- The capability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram form

As a Lead, Logistics in Managed Transportation at RXO, you will effectively manage and administer operational policies and procedures that support the Managed Transportation team's objective to ensure the highest possible quality and accuracy for our customers.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like:- Assess and adjust staffing requirements to maintain the highest possible level of quality service to our customers, while maintaining the lowest possible expenditures of overtime or excess labor expense
- Oversee all supervisory functions, including developing and mentoring supervisors and coordinators; ensure the regular use of metrics and system tools in conjunction with the operational metrics review standards
- Function as liaison between Account Managers and operational staff on all policy and procedure changes or implementations; investigate all significant issues to determine root cause and correction procedure, initiate incident report when necessary
- Coordinate all procedure and document changes, comply with all quality policies and procedures, attend any required quality meetings, and ensure that all quality initiatives are adequately communicated to entire operational staff
- Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and work with operations team and System Engineers to create specifications and implement
- Analyze quantitative information and apply professional judgment to resolve issues
- Maintain departmental budget and ensure compliance to it; actively participate as departmental representative in planning, scheduling, budgeting and policy development and administration
- Work with HR and upper management on any disciplinary issues and institute corrective action; actively participate in the hiring and/or termination process
At a minimum, you'll need:
- 4 years of supervisory experience in logistics and/or transportation
It'd be great if you also have:
- Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Supply Chain or a related field
- Availability to travel occasionally
- Ability to quickly learn and achieve proficiency in new software applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
- Ability to perform complex analysis of data, processes, policies, procedures and/or systems; produce unambiguous, comprehensive, and accurate interpretations

- Manage end to end event planning and execution for strategic customers.
- Identify and communicate discrepancies in promotional forecasts with the Buyer, sales team, and other internal supply chain functions, and continuously strive to provide information to improve sales forecasts through collaboration. Carefully manage promotional orders to minimize distribution costs; Lead in-depth analysis to ensure successful roll-over execution.
- Maintain Order Fulfillment systems (Electronic Data Interface, Vendor Managed Inventory, or Co-Managed Inventory) and all files (promotional information, customer processes and scorecards, customer information) to ensure the successful execution of customer requirements related to order entry and fulfillment. Share strategic insights and provide high level support to team members to ensure success in accomplishing internal and external customer requirements.
- Provide superior service to internal and external customers with current information on products, stock availability and changes to orders, suggesting cost efficient alternative plans when orders cannot be serviced as requested.
- Build and maintain loyal relationships with customers through use of K-C One Behaviors to exceed customer expectations and through offering the customer multiple solutions/options, initiate independent problem solving and decision making.
- Support strategic projects with customers that align with the overall customer segmentation strategy, and support transformation and collaborating customer accounts.

The primary role of the Logistics Specialist (LS) involves loading and unloading tires for warehouse storage and/or timely customer delivery, including the unloading and staging of products at the customer’s business location. The LS is expected to represent TireHub professionally in all customer interaction and maintain safe driving practices, all while delivering exceptional customer service and fostering strong customer relationships.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for distribution of tasks including:
· General Warehousing

Loads, unloads, inspects, and tallies tires to and from transport vehicles (trailer trucks/box trucks/delivery vans).

Follows TireHub safety standards with respect to selecting, packing, counting, labeling, and palletizing customer orders and position them in designated locations using the bin locator system.

Operates equipment such as forklifts, order pickers and pallet jacks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Conducts and participates in cycle counts, tallies, and labeling as part of regularly scheduled and annual inventory control procedures.

Collecting payments from customers on Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions.

Ensures vehicles remain clean and in good mechanical/physical condition.
-
Conducts pre/post-trip vehicle inspections daily and immediately report any operational issues or mechanical defects to the supervisor or designated person.

Completes all the necessary driver and vehicle maintenance logs, on a regular basis.

Ensure compliance with all TireHub policies and procedures.

Participates and maintains ongoing training through in-class, in-person, or computer-based learning modules, as assigned.
