Job Summary
The Logistics Support role is responsible for coordinating and optimizing the flow of materials, supplies, gas cylinders, parts, and assemblies, while establishing and communicating deadlines for deliverables. You will ensure the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and associated rates, maintaining all relevant records. This role includes receipt processing and issuance of received goods, applying identifying information and shipping instructions to containers, liaising with vendors through various communication methods to requisition materials and confirm shipment dates, and coordinating the distribution of materials upon arrival. Additionally, the Senior Logistics Clerk will conduct cycle count inventories, inventory reconciliation, quality and quantity inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and prioritize meeting schedules and customer requirements to ensure satisfaction.
Roles and Responsibilities
+ Manage daily logistics operations in the Engineering Test Services Supply Crib, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and distribution.
+ Review inventory records to ensure accuracy and completeness of product adjustments.
+ Verify incoming products and quantities against packing slips.
+ Log received products into the system and place them in designated storage locations.
+ Fulfill orders and back orders by picking items from pick tickets and distributing them throughout the site.
+ Operate material handling equipment safely, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and electric carts.
+ Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE when handling chemical supplies, gas cylinders, and drums.
+ Lift up to 35 lbs. independently as required.
Basic Qualifications
+ Must be a US Citizen.
+ High school diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum of one year of relevant experience.
+ Must be able to obtain NPMA certification within one year of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience in stockroom and supply inventory control and management.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
+ Familiar with SAP and eQuip systems.
Salary: $25.50/hr.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the management and sustainment of an enterprise-wide Logistics Program for a DoD customer. Additionally, you will safeguard warehouse operations and content by monitoring security procedures and protocols, and continuously identify and implement organizational, equipment, and process improvements.
Main Responsibilities:

Maintain, develop, and monitor reports for productivity and enforcement of client service level agreements for inventory management and logistics,

Perform quality control, repair part management, and property management for all client owned products and facility equipment.

Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. Oversee the entire supply chain process, from procurement to delivery.

Information Data Flow

Generate, maintain, and submit the required data and information supporting the Logistics Program for both Amentum and the DoD customer.

Analyze status of organization supply/logistics/accountability processes. Plan, organize, recommend, and implement changes to the processes.
Minimum Qualifications:

Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance with SCI eligibility. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Top-Secret Clearance.

1-5 years' experience in DoD Logistics/Supply career field or equivalent.

Experience with Microsoft Office software products to include SharePoint.

Experience using asset tracking software tools.

Familiarity with DoD forms i.e. DD250, DD1149, DD1150, DD1348.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently or with minimal assistance.

Salary Range: $50,332.00 - $121,149.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Logistics Support Specialists are located at CENSECFOR field activities, and provide necessary logistical support to the activity while ensuring compliance with the guidelines, references, and directives mandated by CENSECFOR and higher authority. The Logistics Support Specialists work closely with other logistical personnel, both military and government civilians, at the work location and with administrative, logistic, and managerial personnel at CENSECFOR Headquarters.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Track and oversee the supply order process from initiation through delivery. Ensure there are no gaps in the process that could prevent prompt payment to vendors. Update outstanding requisition log with the current supply status. Manage and update FEDMALL and ONE TOUCH SUPPLY SYSTEM.
Maintain supply requisition files. Ensure Supply procurement cycles occur smoothly and that all action is taken by data transmission, telephone, or other available means.
Manage MILSTRIP ordering which involves issuing all MILSTRIP gear to work centers, maintaining a MILSTRIP log for tracking outstanding and completed orders, ensuring temporary receipts (DD Form 1348) are used when originals are not available.
Manage the Activity’s Navy property system program, (Defense Property and Accounting System (DPAS)), which involves maintaining records of accountability for minor and plant property and provides information for resolution of discrepancies. This involves the continuous improvement and streamlining of the system to create an accurate reporting process for minor and plant property. Assist in overseeing the utilization and/or proper disposal of property.
Track and oversee the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO) process at the activity which involves submission of documentation for equipment/property turn-in, scheduling DRMO runs, maintaining tracking system of all turned-in equipment/property and updating inventories to reflect the loss of the equipment/property.
Assist with annual property inventories, act on problems encountered, and seek immediate corrective action for problems.
Prepare requisitions for stock acquisition as requested and track usage data in order to replenish stock so as to maintain prescribed levels and avoid waste and misuse of supplies where possible. Ensure procurement and stock inventory procedures comply with applicable regulations.
Track and ensure that vehicle maintenance is conducted on a regular basis; maintain vehicle gas card (Det Gulfport only).
Coordinate Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) compliance in accordance with respective base procurement policy, Authorized Use List (AUL) maintenance, and Hazardous Waste Minimization (HAZMIN).
Reconcile monthly government cell phone account between user and statement. Provide certifications to CENSECFOR Headquarters (N8) (Det Gulfport only).
Process orders through Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) for document services and printing. Submit trouble calls and maintenance information for DLA copier service contracts.
Manage the Activity’s Printing Program in conjunction with guidance provided from headquarters staff. Drop off and pick up printing projects from DAPS.
Assist with the issue, return, cleaning, and maintenance of training gear.
Track and review command fuel card logs on a regular basis to ensure that all charges match the monthly submitted logs (CENSECFOR HQ only).
Other tasks may be assigned based on emergent requirements or based on unique requirements of the Learning Activity.

The Logistics Support Specialist will support the Center for Security Forces (CENSECFOR) training mission to establish a Master at Arms (MA) Law Enforcement (LE) “C” school for advanced training in support of the instructional, professional, management, and associated support services to enable CENSECFOR to provide mission essential management support and training. The services will be performed at Naval Technical Training Command (NTTC) Lackland, Joint Base, San Antonio, TX. This Position Is Contingent Upon Award Expected September 2025

Responsibilities- Track and oversee the supply order process from initiation through delivery. Ensure there are no gaps in the process that could prevent prompt payment to vendors.
- Maintain supply requisition files. Ensure Supply procurement cycles occur smoothly and that all action is taken by data transmission, telephone, or other available means.
- Manage MILSTRIP ordering which involves issuing all MILSTRIP gear to work centers.
- Maintain a MILSTRIP log for tracking outstanding and completed orders. Ensure temporary receipts (DD Form 1348) are used when originals are not available.
- Manage the Navy property system program, Defense Property and Accounting System (DPAS), which involves maintaining records of accountability for minor and plant property and provides information for resolution of discrepancies. This involves the continuous improvement and streamlining of the system to create an accurate reporting process for minor and plant property. Assist in overseeing the utilization and/or proper disposal of property.
- Track and oversee the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO) process at the activity which involves submission of documentation for equipment/property turn-in, scheduling DRMO runs, maintaining tracking system of all turned-in equipment/property and updating inventories to reflect the loss of the equipment/property.
- Assist with annual property inventories, act on problems encountered, and seek immediate corrective action for problems.
- Prepare requisitions for stock acquisition as requested and track usage data in order to replenish stock so as to maintain prescribed levels and avoid waste and misuse of supplies where possible. Ensure procurement and stock inventory procedures comply with applicable regulations.
- Coordinate Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) compliance in accordance with respective base procurement policy, Authorized Use List (AUL) maintenance, and Hazardous Waste Minimization (HAZMIN).
- Provide certifications to CENSECFOR Headquarters (N8).
- Process orders through Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) for document services and printing. Submit trouble calls and maintenance information for DLA copier service
- contracts.
- Other logistical tasks may be assigned based on emergent requirements or based on unique requirements of the NTTC Lackland.

- A minimum of four (4) years logistics experience, with at least two (2) years in a Navy or Marine Corps environment

SUMMARY
Logistics Support Coordinator is key to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the returns management process. This role involves managing interactions with internal and external customers and carriers, ensuring seamless communication and service. The Logistics Support Specialist will assist with order entry, routing return shipments, scheduling appointments, and supporting daily operational tasks across multiple areas, including customer service, dispatch, tracking/tracing, and asset fleet management. You will be essential in handling return logistics, scheduling, and streamlining processes, particularly during spikes in demand, while maintaining high service standards and operational efficiency.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure accurate data entry in both internal and external technology management systems to assist with forecasting and troubleshooting.
- Coordinating return freight and logistics to support customer fleets & service centers.
- Operational ownership of the returns management process for multi-use packaging fleets.
- Develop relationships and support commercial agreements and negotiations with logistics partners.
- Verify and approve invoices aligned to negotiated commercial agreements; troubleshoot and escalate as required.
- Work closely with Customer Services and Network Partners to meet all customer expectations.
- Generate and analyze return forecasts to support service center operations.
- Prepare monthly transactions and KPI reports.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Understanding of logistics & supply chain (primarily domestic transport)

- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in logistics planning and coordination or relevant qualifications.
