We are seeking a highly skilled MES Integrations Engineer to join our team as a Business Technical Analyst (Order Management). This role requires expertise in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SAP, Boomi, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving MES-related issues and implementing new changes within our MES landscape. This position also involves a proactive approach to identifying and analyzing existing process pain points and functionalities to drive improvements. As the Business Technical Analyst (Order Management), you will collaborate closely with various teams, including MFG IT Level 2 and 3 support, Production Operations & Scheduling, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, as well as our SAP and PLM teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Support Business Analysis Activities: Drive and support the day-to-day activities of the business analyst function, specifically focusing on Order Management.
  • Serve as First Point of Contact: Act as the initial point of contact for all MES-related order management issues, incidents, and concerns.
  • Conduct System Analysis and Design: Perform thorough analysis and design activities related to Order Management systems within the MES environment.
  • Finalize and Configure Bills of Materials: Ensure Bills of Materials (BOMs) are accurately finalized and configured to meet operational requirements.
  • Analyze Production Data for Improvement: Analyze production data to identify trends, patterns, and areas where process improvements can be implemented.

  • Support Plant Commissioning: Collaborate with plant commissioning teams to facilitate the successful launch of factory systems.
  • Provide Timely Technical Assistance: Respond promptly to workflow tickets, Slack messages, emails, and phone calls, providing efficient technical assistance.
  • Troubleshoot Issues Professionally: Engage with users, actively listen to their concerns, analyze and isolate technical issues, and maintain a calm and professional demeanor throughout the troubleshooting process.
  • Manage Customer Interactions: Provide conflict resolution and effectively navigate challenging situations with frustrated users.
  • Diagnose Manufacturing Application Issues: Troubleshoot various manufacturing applications, including the MES and other quality management tools.
  • Conduct On-site Client Meetings: Attend in-person meetings with clients to directly analyze, troubleshoot, and diagnose complex problems and incidents.
  • Document Issues and Propose Improvements: Thoroughly document identified issues and propose system or business process improvements to prevent future occurrences.
