The RoleWith a deep understanding of the technical challenges faced by small and medium-sized businesses, and how these issues hinder strategic initiatives and daily productivity, you will support our customers’ strategy and technology adoption. Motivated by the empowerment our services provide, vCIOs deliver exceptional account management, strategic guidance, and industry insights.
Each client has unique needs and approaches to IT support and strategy. As a vCIO, you will identify opportunities to improve their current practices while representing both companies for optimal outcomes. Responsibilities include account retention, revenue growth through projects, and strategic advising. This role combines account management with revenue development.
Requirements Core Responsibilities- Position yourself as the customer's Chief Information Officer, guiding their business through risk mitigation, efficiency, and growth strategies.
- Manage the relationship on behalf of WEBIT Services.
- Advocate internally for process improvements to meet client needs and strategies.
- Collaborate with operations staff on GAP assessments and onboarding new clients.
- Serve as the escalation point for service concerns at the executive level.
- Conduct strategic business reviews regularly, tailored to client needs.
- Grow project revenue.
- Escalate issues to internal teams as necessary.
- Participate actively in project scoping, quoting, and implementation.
- At least 3 years of successful MSP sales or account management experience in the Chicago Metro Area.
- Proven success in MSP sales or account management, with tangible examples.
- A track record of reducing churn and enhancing client satisfaction.
- Strong executive presence and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse book of business across multiple verticals.
- Deep experience with Lifecycle Insights.
- Proficiency in Autotask or similar PSAs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Motivated to achieve significant impact.
- Ability to travel daily within the Chicago metro area for meetings, networking, and occasional evening or weekend events.
- Reliable internet connection with a mobile backup/hotspot.
- Full-time, hybrid work environment.
Salary
The estimated On-Target Earnings range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000 annually. Compensation is salary-only, with potential inclusion of Employee Stock Units and profit-sharing bonuses. Total compensation will depend on individual qualifications, experience, and skills.
