WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW :
As a QC Lab Technologist II you will perform advanced manufacturing, processing and test procedures on blood products, and will interpret test results before releasing blood to area hospitals. You will manufacture and prepare pathogen reduced platelet products for hospital patient use, in a highly regulated environment. As a Technologist II you may assume operational supervisory responsibilities on your designated shift; you will mentor and guide Technologist I and Technician staff, and provide support, development, and/or leadership guidance to all line staff.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform moderate to high complexity laboratory testing procedures and interpret various testing procedures on donor specimens, and blood products; Identify and quarantine products/samples that don’t meet quality requirements.

Meet the quality and quantity production and testing goals established by the department.

Ensure products are suitable for release for distribution.

Meet the quality and quantity production and testing goals established by the department, and appropriately manage any exceptions.

Prioritize workload to meet production and customer requirements.

Perform quality control on products, reagents, equipment, and various test kits; maintainaccurate electronic and physical inventory locations for products/samples.

Tracks the quantities and results of QC testing performed to meet ARC and regulatory requirements.

Participate in QC staff training and QC projects; may serve as a project lead

Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities with cross-functional teams.
The aforementioned responsibilities of the Technologist describe the general nature and level of work and are _not an exhaustive list. _
Standard Schedule : 3rd shift; Saturday- Wednesday, 9:00 pm-5:30 am
Training Schedule: First 4-6 weeks, Monday- Friday 9:00 am-5:30 pm. Full attendance is required.
Pay Information: $29.50 hourly rate plus shift differential pay for hours worked after 3:00 pm & all weekend hours ($.25- 5.00 more per hour for this shift).
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED :

Bachelor’s degree in an applied science with 1 year hematology-testing experience OR a MLT/MT certification or MLS degree.

Minimum 4 years of related experience in a regulatory, laboratory, or manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and related experience required for non-MLT/MT staff.

Must meet state and CLIA requirements where applicable.
**Ability to use a wide variety of lab or medical equipment, personal computer and applicable software for sustained periods. **
- Ability to work with a team.

Physical Requirements :

Required to wear protective clothing such as lab coats, gloves, face shields, etc. when there is exposure to blood and blood products and/or where work location requires.

The MRM Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of Ready Mixed Concrete and all aggregates used by the company. This role performs routine testing and inspections to verify that materials meet required job specifications and industry standards.
Responsibilities:

- Review and verify documentation for compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485).
- Maintain accurate inspection records and support traceability and documentation control.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support internal audits and regulatory inspections.
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or bachelors degree in business, supply chain, life sciences or other scientific field or equivalent work experience (3-5 years).
- 3+ years of experience in quality inspection in the medical device industry.
- Strong understanding of quality systems and regulatory standards (ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820).
- Proficiency in using inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, vision systems) and reading technical drawings/specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with electronic documentation systems (e.g., eQMS).
- Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and GMP practices.
- ASQ certification (e.g., CQI) is a plus.
- Two (2) or more years of laboratory experience
- Experience in QC inspection, cleanroom manufacturing, and medical device start-up
- 3+ year of Quality Control Experience in Medical Device Manufacturing. Knowledge of clean room operations
- Understanding of a quality management system (QMS) and cGMP knowledge
- Proficient level with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Knowledge of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)

Supports the implementation, of the Eversource Quality Control program as it relates to any of the following construction, maintenance, meter service, leak survey, corrosion, damage prevention, LNG and I&R activities at Eversource Gas. Ensures that work and activities are performed in accordance with all federal, state, and company construction standards and procedures and all safety rules and standards established by the Company and required by law. The QC Specialist has the authority to direct and stop, if necessary, work to ensure compliance with all requirements. This position is an authorized company representative when on job sites and has the authority to make decisions, within their area of responsibility, on behalf of the Company.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Ensures safe work practices are being employed in accordance with the Company's Health and Safety Handbook and Contractor Safety Manual.
+ Ensures all work activities are being performed in accordance with Gas Distribution construction standards and operating procedures. Verifies that the work is being performed by qualified personnel.
+ Verifies that work packages are in order with appropriate work procedures as required, mark out ticket, and mapping information.
+ Monitors resources associated with the Company's re-dig program.
+ Supports the on-boarding of contractor crews and verifies that all aspects of the Company's Operator Qualification Plan are being followed.
+ Identifies non-compliant conditions and situations, makes recommendations for corrective action.
+ Responsible for accurate documentation of inspection results.
+ Responsible for the Company's gas quality control programs.
+ Performs activities that will contribute to the annual gas inspection plan including random inspections and re-dig program activities.
