Role Synopsis:

The Quality Control Lab Technician will be responsible for carrying out routine and non-routine testing of products and raw materials, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal specifications. In addition, key responsibilities include preparing samples, blend adjustments, accurately recording and reporting data, and troubleshooting issues in collaboration with operations and technical teams.

The technician will ensure proper laboratory equipment operation, calibration, and maintenance while adhering to stringent housekeeping, safety, and quality control protocols at the site.  This role is critical in safeguarding data and product integrity, supporting continuous improvement, and enabling efficient plant operations through timely and reliable analytical support.

Key Accountabilities:

• Executes the routine analysis of manufacturing samples using the specified ASTM method.
• Performs routine calibration, and maintenance of laboratory instruments as required for normal lab operations.
• Executes testing of raw materials and finished good products according to methods specified.
• Performs in-process adjustments to manufacturing when needed in a timely matter.
• Follow all procedures per the ISO 9001/IATF 16949 standards and Plant Operating Procedures.
• Verifies SAP Blend Orders for: formulation, component listing, and testing parameters.
• Records and maintains product analysis data, perform SPC analysis as required, performs data entry in SAP for sample results
• Performs routine and special process, product, and raw material analyses using chemical, physical and instrumental methods.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and problem solve where needed.
• Supports analysis of samples as part of GAGE R&R and SPC.
• Supports the laboratory's ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 quality management system and audits.
• Understands and supports the day-to-day operational and the longer-term strategic goals of the plant and laboratory.
• Contributes effectively to the team, meeting both team and personal objectives as set.
• Immediately communicates out of specification test results and assists in resolving internal non-conformances.
• Assists in isolation of nonconforming product and coordinates activities necessary to resolve product quality or operating issues to resume production of high-quality product.  Coordinate activities to promptly rework nonconforming product.
• Practices site safety and environmental standards and follows local area policies.
• Flush Management: Determine tanks for flush oil and flush return, determine flush-fluid compatibility and monitor concentration, Direct Process to action, assuring cost effective flush management.
• Conduct Quality Audits during production runs. Records data as required. Assist in trials of new products, raw materials and/or packaging materials. Perform visual packaging line inspections at required intervals.
• Be familiar with equipment operations; be familiar with Process controls, process flows, and chemistry with additives.
• Must support and help manage HSSE goals and initiatives. Promptly identify, address and/or report issues related to HSSE issues. Participates safety analysis and has good work area housekeeping.
• Work Ethic: Attendance to be excellent, requires little supervision, self-starter, and have urgency and passion for safety, quality, production and maintenance.

Essential Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) related discipline required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Petro-chemical laboratory and/or chemical industry required.
• ISO 9001; IATF 16949 Experience desired.
• Strong PC Skills, Working knowledge of SAP & Standard MS Office Software

**Summary:**
Manufacturing is a pillar within Meta's Delivery Team supporting data center construction. We exist to support the predictable delivery of capacity at scale through manufactured solutions.The Manufacturing Team's primary focus is supply chain engagement and optimization. We accept Manufacturing Informed Designed (MID) components and orchestrate their detailing and prototyping to optimum manufacturability then work with our partners in Delivery to plan logistics and integration to avoid challenges in construction.This team is comprised of strategic designers, strategic builders, tactical specialists, plus internal and external subject matter experts (SME) including preconstruction managers, contractors, schedulers, equipment reliability engineers, and sourcing specialists. This position will lead program management of all manufactured components in support of Meta's RPL project. This mega-project is of such scale that it requires a high-performing PM to drive strategic and tactical aspects of first-of-kind prototyping, logistics, and integration. Never before have we relied so heavily on offsite construction; a necessity here to deliver a project of this magnitude on an aggressive timeline. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the timely delivery of this capacity on what will be the largest project in Meta's history and one of a few of the largest data centers in the world.
**Required Skills:**
Program Manager, Manufacturing Responsibilities:
1. Program Management - Lead coordination, document, and anticipate program needs to ensure cost, schedule, and quality in concert with the mega-project construction
2. Primary Interface with the Manufacturing CAPs (Component Accountable PMs) - to coordinate on Supplier production (manufacturing execution) including configuring supply chain, production, scheduling, strategic inventory, logistics, and integration in collaboration with our delivery and quality teams

ABOUT THE ROLE
To collect samples from jobsites/batch plants and performs field and laboratory quality control testing to ensure product specifications are achieved. Help to maintain DOT product approvals. Use knowledge of concrete design to help innovate new products that meet internal and external aspirations. Provide verbal and/or written test results to management and production staff in a timely manner. Assists manager with customer service issues as directed.
