In depth knowledge of the materials and the equipment in the value stream including new product development is expected.

+ Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations of the industry served by the value stream. Be a role model in demonstrating compliance and exhibiting and rewarding behaviors that comply with SQDC metrics.

The Manufacturing Design Engineer is responsible for ensuring that work flows through the shop in a coordinated manner.   • Identify opportunities to create standardized routers the take the place of job-specific work instructions created by engineering.
  • Take a leadership role in managing 'shop jobs', which are jobs that are primarily managed by the shop with minimal input from engineering.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and a commitment to safety excellence.
  • Identify and lead process / product improvement initiatives in the shop.
  • Pursue upgrades in technology and equipment to improve efficiency and product quality.
  • Assist in the interviewing and evaluation of new hires.
  • Interface with other departments and suppliers as required to ensure project requirements are met on time.
  • Participate in manufacturing team activities to meet identified goals.

Education:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for the planning and directing of the accounting activities under the guidance and direction of the Controller. + Utilizes production and/or development equipment in sample preparation activities. Operates all equipment in a safe and clean manner.

+ Assist production in troubleshooting problems by investigating defects, and making recommendations to operators, troubleshooting production problems, and initiating/implementing process improvement methods and equipment in order to achieve current order fulfillment and/or to reduce costs.

**Skills and Experience:**
+ 0-5 years of technical experience in manufacturing and/or related product development
+ Must be experienced with basic lab equipment and in utilizing analytical measuring instruments (calipers, scales, etc.;). Must be able to observe, measure and enter testing results into electronic reporting system

Job summary:
This position develops and enters into SAP manufacturing specifications, item master data, process routings, and tool accountability for all aspects of manufacturing facility. It also generates standard product quotes, and administers and maintains the Enterprise Resources Planning System (ERP) item master for related cost centers to support all Business Group revenues.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains SAP Material Data, Routings and Bill of Materials for all products in manufacturing facility and corresponding sales areas. Standard products require 24 hours turnaround time.
- Assist with developing manufacturing routings with proper steps, sequences and equipment, with detailed manufacturing instruction to ensure products meet visual and dimensional product specifications. Must possess ability to read manufacturing prints and determine accurate manufacturing method including inspection and tolerances. Must keep up to date with all relevant manufacturing processes to ensure the most effective way to manufacture.
- Creates standard product cost quotes within 24 hours, as requested by sales, to support the sale of new products for related business units.
- Initiates all new Tooling Requests for Elastomer Products. Responsible for determining if new tooling is required for all new elastomer part numbers, utilizing mold substitution programs if available. Work with Value Steam Technicians to keep mold substitution guidelines accurate. Develops tool part numbers in SAP and tooling database and maintain status during tool approval process. Create and maintain tool storage system for elastomers to ensure easy retrieval and operator accessibility.
- Reviews Manufacturing Related Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and other change requests to assure accurate manufacturing data relating to SAP routing, BOM, Item Master data.
- Assists with special Methods projects involving manual or mass update modifications, intended to improve accuracy or efficiency, as needed to increase business revenues.
- Assists with communicates with Inside Sales, Planning, Quality, Value Stream members, and Process and Design Engineering Departments to understand priorities, maintain routing data integrity, thereby ensuring necessary access to information needed to manufacture products in the Value Streams.
Required Minimum Qualifications
Education/Certifications: HS Diploma required; Preference given to candidates with BS degree
Skills and Experience:
- Working knowledge of manufactured product (elastomer and non-elastomer) manufacturing specifications, manufacturing equipment, process flow routings, bill of materials for assemblies, and standard manufacturing rates & costs for standard products is required in this position.

Job Overview

This is a United Steelworkers Union position where you will operate all equipment safely and efficiently following the successful completion of safety and training programs. Maintain inventory accurately by identifying, labeling, placing materials and supplies in stock, and recording the location of inventory. Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders while completing necessary paperwork and data entry.

**Training will take place on 1st shift, (6 am-2 pm), and can last from 2-3 weeks.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform all duties to the safety standards established as they relate to the position.
  • Qualified to operate all material handling equipment efficiently as determined by successful completion of the training program.
  • Perform daily maintenance checks of assigned equipment and operates in a manner that minimizes maintenance costs.
  • Stock, remove, and transport materials to and from storage in all departments (raw materials, finished products, cartons, etc.) in a manner that minimizes material damage and loss.
  • Identify specific finished products, raw materials, etc.and maintain plant storage areas according to material location requirements.
  • Be aware of and employ proper stacking techniques.
  • Load and unload trucks, complete all necessary paperwork and data entry, and transport material to proper storage areas.
  • Accurately verify inventory tags, labels, product count, and correct item number.
  • Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or similar position

Qualifications

  • Must have VALID driver's license and RELIABLE transportation
  • 1-3 years of experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics; experience in operating material handling equipment preferred
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and lift heavy materials up to & over 50lbs
  • Function successfully in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Contribute to team efforts by communicating and working well with others
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Willingness to work 6 days a week, including overtime and weekends

Maximus is looking for a Quality Control / Quality Assurance Admin III to support our DMCS program under our Department of Education portfolio.

This will be a Limited Service position. You will be hired on a contingency basis with limited time of service.

The Quality Control / Quality Assurance Admin III will provide quality control reviews for functions supporting the Debt Management Collection Services (DMCS) program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgement in resolving issues.
- Follow procedures and directions to assess the quality of service provided through monitoring incoming calls and other work types which focusing on the quality of customer service, accuracy of information provided, and adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Conduct call monitoring sessions to ensure workers are performing in accordance with established quality and performance standards.
- Provide feedback on call monitoring results.
- Evaluate recorded and/or transcribed interactions of a complex nature between the caller/chatter/correspondent and the worker, and provide appropriate context of ratings.

Additional Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Monitor and evaluate correspondence and phone activities and complete scorecards to assess each item according to guidance provided and provide a constructive assessment.

- Maintain and update databases, score cards, reports, and documents with high degree of accuracy.

- Identify accounts requiring escalation, escalating immediately if warranted.

- Utilize the feedback tool to give and receive constructive feedback on call quality and department tasks.

- Preform administrative functions that support the process of reports and appeals.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal regulations, policies, and procedures as they apply to student financial aid.

- Maintain current understanding of the processing procedures.

- Utilize available systems, knowledge-base and standard technology such as telephone, e-mail, and web browser to respond to inquiries and perform job duties.

- Identify trends in the information provided by agents to identify areas of improvement and areas that might require additional training.

- Organize, lead, or participate in calibration meetings including the selection of topics to be evaluated and discussed,

- Assist with new hire presentations, assignments, and certifications.

- Demonstrate and maintain appropriate judgment with confidential information.

- May perform other functions as requested by management within scope of level or occasional support of lower-level functions as business/volume need require

Additional Requirements as per contract/client:

- Department of Education and Student Loan experience preferred

- Quality Assurance experience required

- High School Diploma or GED required

- Must reside in the U.S.

- Must be a U.S. citizen.

- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

- Must not be delinquent or in default on any federal student loans.

- Employment and continued employment are contingent upon obtaining and maintaining a favorable clearance. Final suitability determination is the sole discretion of the Department of Education.

- Obtaining and Maintaining a PIV-I card is a requirement of this position. PIV-I cards must be picked up in person. New and existing employees may need to travel via car, train, or plane to a designated location to pick up their new or replacement PIV-I card. Any travel expenses will be paid for by Maximus.

Minimum Requirements

- High School diploma or equivalent with 2-4 years of experience.
- Associate degree preferred.
- May have training or education in area of specialization.
