  • Read and work from assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, parts list
  • Performing rework and repairs of materials to IPC standards
  • Populate PCBAs, both through-hole and surface mount and the masking and conformal coating of boards
  • Perform work and assembly processes that meet or exceed IPC standards
  • Perform tasks in a timely manner which meets or exceeds time standards
  • Perform construction and in-process inspection on box builds, PCBAs, and cables

**What You Can Expect**
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for leading design for manufacturing (DFM) initiatives, optimizing cost processes, and identifying and managing strategic projects. This concurrent engineering role requires a high level of technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacturing processes.

**Design for Manufacturing (DFM):**
o Lead DFM initiatives to ensure product designs are optimized for manufacturability.
o Collaborate with product design teams to influence design decisions that enhance manufacturability, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
o Develop and implement DFM guidelines and best practices.
**Cost Optimization:**
o Analyze and identify opportunities for cost reduction in manufacturing processes.

o Work closely with product development, procurement, and supply chain teams to evaluate and select cost-effective materials and suppliers.
**Project Identification and Management:**
o Identify strategic projects that will improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
o Lead cross-functional project teams to plan, execute, and complete projects within scope, on time, and within budget.
o Monitor project progress, report on milestones, and ensure adherence to project timelines.
**Technical Leadership:**
o Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and manufacturing staff.
o Stay current with advancements in manufacturing technologies and incorporate relevant innovations into the manufacturing process.
o Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control measures.
**Collaboration and Communication:**
o Work closely with design, production, quality, and procurement teams to ensure seamless integration of manufacturing processes.
o Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to keep them informed of project status and any issues that may arise.
o Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and recommendations to senior management.
+ Interface with 3rd party suppliers, contractors, testing houses, etc.
+ Assist the P28 Quality and Supply Chain departments to evaluate new suppliers for inclusion in the P28 approved supplier list
+ Assist P28 Quality team in developing inspection plans
+ Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action development for design related issues in released product
+ Assist with other development projects as additional resource when needed, while balancing own workload
+ Other duties as directed by manager

**Your Background**

+ Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing and completing projects.

**DIRECT-HIRE**
**Pay: $20-24/hr, depending on experience (+10% shift differential for 2nd shift)**
**Main Job Responsibilities:**
+ Set up machinery for the process to start including setting up raw materials needed.
+ Monitor production process through control room and troubleshoot/ repair machinery as needed.
+ Load products into machinery.
+ Perform quality inspection on final products.
+ Safely handle chemicals using proper PPE.
**Skills & Qualifications:**
+ **3-10 years of experience in manufacturing is required.**

+ Ability to work with raw material chemical components.

Responsibilities
+ Learn and back up CNC programming for machine operations.
+ Support three departments by designing in-house custom fixtures and prototypes.
+ Verify sheet metal parts using SolidWorks and AutoCAD 2D.
+ Participate in sheet metal fabrication, including blanking and forming into press brakes.
+ Involve in evaporator and tubing departments using automated CNC tube cutters.
+ Find efficiencies and cost savings within production processes.
+ Ensure parts are qualified and built to print.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
+ Experience with CNC machines and machine shop skills.

The QA/QC Inspector plans and conducts activities concerned with the quality assurance of industrial processes, materials, and products by performing the following duties. The QA/QC Inspector will represent ACCO and its subcontractors for pipe and equipment installation, welding inspection and oversight of subcontractor installation and quality. The QA/QC Inspector will participate in the General Contractors project quality program documenting installation activities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plans and conducts the analysis, inspection, design, test, and/or integration to assure the quality of assigned product or component.
  • Performs quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records.
  • Reviews all purchased products or components and provides input to the decision of whether the product has been vetted by ACCO for future purchases from the vendor.
  • Documents data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with company policies, codes and procedures.
  • Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provides recommended process improvements to management.
  • Prepares reports to communicate involvement and results of quality assurance activities.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of codes and specifications for current industry quality standards.
  • The quality team may assign other duties.

Secondary Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Develops new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities.
  • Prepares and presents technical information and reports to team members and management.
  • Directs technical and administrative workers engaged in quality assurance activities.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Site QC Supervisor or QA/QC Director in conjunction with the project team.

Position Requirements (Skills, Work Experience, Education, Certifications, Licenses, etc.):

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
