Position Summary:
This position reports directly to the Plant Manager and is responsible for providing technical expertise in all areas of operations through knowledge of process engineering, capacities, capabilities, yield, cost, people systems and overall unit operations. This role will serve as a change agent to challenge existing processes in place and use data to communicate and support the opportunities that exist. This position is ON-SITE and NOT Remote. NO relocation assistance being offered.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the improvement in productivity of all assets (people, equipment, materials, and time) through identification and implementation of best practices, equipment modifications and capital investments.
- Provides design expertise for capital projects in areas of new product development, financial savings, sensitivity analysis, capacities, capabilities, facility layouts, material handling, ergonomics, start-up costs, yield, and efficiencies.
- Initiate, develop and implement productivity ideas and cost savings projects for the facility, working towards achieving the plant conversion productivity target.
- Support new product and process development projects which facilitate corporate initiatives to grow and expand in existing and new markets.
- Coordinate the elimination of waste and improvements of manufacturing processes.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a Continuous Improvement Program that promotes a Zero Loss culture. A Zero Loss culture eliminates non-value-added work and losses every day, as well as expecting and demanding continuous improvement every day.
- Conduct economic and business case analyses of cost reduction ideas, capital projects, and supply chain strategies.
- Optimize capacity utilization through process flow optimization, bottle neck analysis, and Lean Manufacturing strategies to release trapped capacity and increase OEE.
- Stay current in emerging technologies and innovative practices.
- Other special projects and duties as assigned.
- Demonstrate and enforce following safe work practices and policies to maintain a safe work environment.

Assist the Network Services team as an on-site resource for cable patching and network troubleshooting. Provide support for desk and wireless phones, as well as wireless access points, ensuring reliable connectivity and communication throughout the manufacturing and office environments.
Assist the Digital Workplace team as an on-site resource for digital signage computers and displays, as well as personnel scheduler issues. Provide troubleshooting and support to ensure effective operation of digital signage systems and scheduling tools.

Utilize vendor technical support systems to determine corrective actions for hardware repairs. Pay Range:
$72,200.00 - $116,200.00
