Graphic Packaging International is seeking an experienced, hands-on Shift Supervisor to lead production operations on second shift (12am - 8am) in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for managing a team of approximately 50 employees during your designated shift, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and team development are at the forefront of operations.
**Job Responsibilities:**
- Lead and supervise daily operations for your assigned shift, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are consistently met.
- Establish clear expectations for performance and hold team members accountable to meet established targets.
- Coordinate all shift activities including planning, staffing, production scheduling, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including daily crew meetings, 1-on-1 performance discussions, and cross-shift handoffs.
- Monitor equipment and enforce proper maintenance and housekeeping standards to minimize downtime.
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures, handling employee relations, corrective actions, and performance reviews.
- Analyze production and operating data, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Use Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, or similar continuous improvement tools to support process and safety improvements.
- Champion a positive team environment that reflects Graphic Packaging's core values of Integrity, Respect, Accountability, Relationships, and Teamwork.
**Job Requirements:**
**Education:**
+ High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
**Experience:**
+ Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
+ Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop frontline employees.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage conflict and build team cohesion.
+ Experience with problem-solving tools such as TCC (Trouble Cause Correction), Lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma is highly desirable.
+ Comfortable working in a 24/7 production facility, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
+ Work a rotating weekend shift (12-hr shifts both Saturday and Sunday)
**Pay Range:** **$78,750.00** **-** **$105,000.00**

The Sr. Maintenance Reliability Manager is responsible for developing and implementing maintenance programs that will improve overall maintenance practices and processes to increase and sustain equipment up-time and plant utilities functions. Provides overall leadership and direction to the reliability function. This position is responsible to the Manufacturing Site Director for the safe, effective and efficient use of all manpower, materials, parts and other resources under their control as well as providing capacity, asset reliability and best life cycle cost to the operation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Build and maintain a strong working relationship with Maintenance Leadership, Planners, Storeroom personnel, Engineers, Operators, and Mechanics.
• Develop and foster a communication network that promotes interaction between mechanics, operators, Team Leaders, and Managers.
• Create a proactive work environment that involves mechanics in the planning, coordinating, and execution of work.
• Develops and controls the maintenance budget that provides for optimized spending to achieve the agreed upon capacity and asset reliability.
• Analyzes operational data and equipment performance history to deliver improvements in critical maintenance related metrics / KPIs.
• Manages the reliability workforce, develops succession plans, skills assessments and training.
• Develop, recommend and implement strategies for improving the reliability of the manufacturing processes and preventative maintenance program.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Management of ammonia refrigeration systems, process hazard analysis, process safety management.
• Accountability for Controls and/or Instrumentation teams.
• Strong leadership and people skills.
• Expertise with high speed and high-volume foods manufacturing processes.
• Solid project management, manufacturing processes, utilities, facilities construction.
• Labor Relations and union experience highly desired.
• Working knowledge of FDA and OSHA regulations, GMPs, Sanitation, and HACCP
REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Industrial Technology, or related discipline and 7+ years reliability and/or maintenance experience and 3 plus years in a leadership role required OR in lieu of degree 10+ years reliability and/or maintenance experience and 3 plus years in a leadership role required
