Summary: Provide administrative support to Sales, Engineering and Product Realization Departments.

Job Duties

• Support the activities of the Sales, Engineering and Product Realization Departments.
  • Create P.O.s for Heat treat and schedule pick up.
  • Create Work instructions
  • Close out TP work orders and scan in tooling assessments.
  • Create TC work orders.
• Department Support - Provide clerical support for Sales Team (i.e. prepare research, prepare meeting documents, Engineering (prints, books, etc.) and Product Realization.

• Projects - assist on continual improvement projects to support the Company.
  • Workplace Organization - to ensure the smooth flow of information throughout ATD.
Job Specifications or Qualifications:

Minimum Education

• Associates degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Education

• Bachelor's degree in business or Engineering

Technical Skills

• Minimum of two years' previous Customer Service with data entry and use of MRP/ERP preferred.

• Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

• Organization - ability to comprehend and envision how processes, people, transactions and records all work together - being able to see the whole picture - how everything needs to work together to complete a project, or organize an office, or manage a group to improve a situation, a setting, or a project - attention to detail.

- Review all machines for assembly for GEMBA and CAFM items.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

The Manufacturing Supervisor II is responsible for leading and directing a team of employees in the material fabrication value stream. They are accountable for maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to quality standards and are responsible for meeting customer demand schedules within established cost goals.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Review and understand daily key performance indicators to evaluate the current status and gap to plan, and use this data to drive daily problem solving (8 Step, 5 Why, Cause and Effect, Fishbone) where required
+ Ensure timely identification of quality issues through the use of the non-conforming materials process to ensure scrap and rework are properly processed
+ Serve as liaison to other groups, product lines and/or functional areas to ensure products are built, assembled, and/or tested within appropriate parameters
+ Review the daily allocation of resources in order to drive production schedule to meet established customer requirements
+ Make staffing decisions in accordance with human resource procedures to build and grow the team to meet the needs of the business
+ Develop, coach, and mentor employees through the use of performance planning to drive employee and business growth
**Non-Essential Functions:**
+ Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to define and modify manufacturing instructions
+ Partner with the supply chain team to develop material replenishment system for the manufacturing areas
+ Ensure equipment complies with calibration and maintenance procedures and requirements
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ **Experience:** 2+ years of experience in the field or in a related area and 2+ years as a supervisor/lead.

What Production Operators do:

At our facility in Medina, OH, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining state-of-the-art plastic injection blow molders and extrusion machines, ensuring that our products not only meet but exceed quality standards and customer expectations.

Production Operators' Responsibilities:

  • Operate extrusion and blow-molding manufacturing machines and equipment efficiently.

  • Monitor and adjust machine settings (such as heat control and hydraulic pressure) to ensure seamless production.

  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance tasks.

  • Perform quality checks to ensure products meet customer specifications (e.g., bottle weights and dimensions).

  • Collaborate with colleagues to find innovative solutions and enhance production processes.

Requirements for the Role:

  • A strong mechanical inclination with the ability to fix and work with tools and machinery.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience operating manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production setting.

  • Familiarity with extrusion or blow molding machinery is a bonus!

  • Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electromechanical systems is advantageous.

  • Excellent problem-solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.

Shift Details:

  • Monday to Friday, 3 PM - 11 PM

Compensation: Starting at $20.00/hr, based on experience.
