VG is seeking a first-rate Manufacturing Engineer with experience in composite aircraft assembly. The primary task will be to help establish the manufacturing process flow and documentation for the fabrication and installation of avionics components in an effort to set up production line operations for the Production Team. The Manufacturing Engineer in this position will help define what production equipment, tools, systems, and materials will be required in order to create an efficient, organized, and lean factory. After production operations begin, the engineer will assist overseeing much of the Avionics installation and work on process improvement and production optimization using lean processes and tools. - Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes on factory floor. - Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, installation methods, and quality control standards. - Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. - Confers with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods. - Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards. - Verifies Engineering designs and drawings to ensure manufacturability. - Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions. - Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes. - Creates manufacturing and nonconformance work instructions.

As a Supervisor, your primary focus is to help refine and improve the production flow, equipment, and tools to create an efficient, organized, and lean factory. **RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Prepare new drums and totes for filling, including labeling.
