JOB SUMMARY:
Manufacturing Production manages or assists with managing various production activities (e.g.,
assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, or packaging, etc.) including: Planning,
directing, and monitoring production to meet established specifications, schedules,
volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards. Liaising with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply &
Logistics, Sales, etc. as input to developing production schedules and allocating labor/capital resources.

This position will be onsite and responsible for logistics and integration of more than 20,000 manufactured components in support of Meta's Holly Ridge project. Never before have we relied so heavily on offsite construction; a necessity to deliver a project of this magnitude on a fast-paced timeline. The candidate will work closely with the contracting team and will be instrumental in ensuring the timely delivery of this capacity on what will be the largest project in Meta's history, and one of a few of the largest datacenters in the world.This mega-project is of such scale that it requires a high-performing PM to drive strategic and tactical aspects of logistics and integration, including overseeing the third party logistics team. We exist to support the predictable delivery of capacity at scale through manufactured solutions.The Manufacturing (aka Manufactured Owner Furnished Equipment "MOFE") Team's primary focus is supply chain engagement and optimization in support of construction for datacenter capacity. This role is responsible for the generation, implementation, and management of a Manufacturing focused Meta Quality Program, by establishing a Quality Program that is focused on people, processes and accountability through influential vendor management and effective partnerships with site-based stakeholders (General Contractor Teams, Vendor Teams, Trade Partners, and Infra-Data Center Teams). Through leadership and partnerships, the Manufacturing Quality Engineers will utilize our program core competencies to drive vendor improvement objectives and issue mitigation strategies to ensure day one readiness, predictable on-time delivery, and operational reliability of our global campuses.

Mega-Site Manufacturing Quality Engineer Responsibilities:
1. Conduct vendor audits, evaluate on site trend data reflective of vendor performance (set in place inspections, construction, start-up, and commissioning execution) and establish strategic vendor improvement objectives to refine vendor processes, training and phase gating that result in reduced risk of shipping issues to sites and impacting start-up and commissioning
2. Develop/monitor quality program metrics to evaluate vendor manufacturing & project performance. Analyze said metrics to understand the root cause of any concerning trends and then work with the relevant parties to correct those items

In conjunction with the Regional Quality Manager, Building Management System (BMS) Quality Manager, Data Center Engineering & Construction, Infrastructure and Supply Chain Engineering and Facility Operations matrixed teams establish effective processes and standards to enable efficient scope execution and effective cross-functional communications
6. Provide leadership to offsite vendor and on-site Meta Operations Facilities Engineering (MOFE) management & quality teams while interfacing at the highest level between sourcing, design, construction, facility operations leadership and the general contractor
7. Provide direction and feedback to vendor staff, general contractor staff and trade partners on the Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) Management and Quality program

To collect samples from jobsites/batch plants and performs field and laboratory quality control testing to ensure product specifications are achieved. Help to maintain DOT product approvals. Use knowledge of concrete design to help innovate new products that meet internal and external aspirations. Provide verbal and/or written test results to management and production staff in a timely manner. Assists manager with customer service issues as directed. Assists in mix design development, and other construction materials testing. Assist with specification review and mix design submittal preparation. Assist with mix design maintenance.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Examines laboratory samples to determine their physical and chemical properties.
- Uses a variety of instruments and calculations to determine conformity. Performs various tests to make certain that samples meet required standards. May be assigned to manage a specific job in the field.
- Records, analyzes, certifies and prepares summaries of findings. Maintains records of test results using various databases.
- May design mixes to be used at various plants based on materials used at each site. Optimizes mix designs to reduce costs of materials used by adding recycled materials, additives or other materials.
- Assists with customer service issues as required. Troubleshoots to determine reason for problem or complaint.
- Collects samples from various plants/job sites as required. Work performed in a laboratory setting or at a field location.
- Interacts with the work of other QC Technicians to ensure work is completed timely and efficiently pursuant to Quality Control Standards and Legal Requirements.

Education: Associate's degree or years of equivalent experience
Field of Study Preferred : Construction Management
Required Work Experience: 5 years
Required Training/Certifications: ACI and/or NRMCA Certifications
Required Technical Skills: Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel), Command, Quadrel, Google, SAP
Understanding of CDOT specifications and test procedures for aggregates and concrete.
Complete understanding of ASTM specifications and test procedure for concrete.
Availability and willingness to work flexible hours including some nights and weekends to meet customer needs.
Ability to lift and carry 50-75 lbs. over uneven ground for a distance of 300 ft.
Additional Requirement:
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
