Job Purpose
The Engineer should support continuous improvement related to safety , quality, delivery efforts, ability to identify root causes to complex problems, support New model, manage projects, prepare documents for approval, Identify loss, causes of loss, develop solutions and implement engineering counter measures.
As an Equipment Engineers requires that you develop a plan, execute the plan based on the Teams best interest and direction. As a Team member you will speak for the project as an Equipment expert. You will keep a timeline control cost, explain your situation to management upon request. Summary: Planning, Innovation, Focus on Improvement Innovation Focus on Improvement.

Key Accountabilities
- Perform Problem Solving / Root Cause Analysis - Complete problem-solving analysis, investigations, report writing, and containment/repair activity with speed.
- Maintain Equipment on-line – Study equipment performance and reliability and develop solutions for increasing uptime
- Install new equipment - Develop Business plan and manage projects to implement new equipment for continuous improvement activities
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Education Required:
- Bachelors of Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering , or equivalent demonstrated experience/ skills
Experience
- 0-6 years experience in manufacturing environment
Skills Desired
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Knowledge of Assembly Mfg environment
- Knowledge of Mechanical Systems and 3D CAD software
- General engineering principles as it relates to assembly equipment
- Project Management Skills Ability to work within a team environment
Working Conditions
- The role of Equipment Engineer is to run projects distributed by the Team managers, The Engineer will lead their project from concept to completion using outside vendors, internal Team work to complete the required task.
- Keeping on schedule on time and on budget. Often times weekend work or shifting hours could be required to meet the needs of the company, business needs control the hours worked and task completion deadline.
- Manufacturing environment where able to physically perform jobs on the assembly line. (Lifting >10lbs, walking/standing 8 hrs/day, etc)
- Flexibility to work different shifts
- Work OT as requested (<5 hours/week)
- Travel 1-4 trips/year both domestic and international

Pay Rate
The pay rate for this job is $16-$17 / hour. This range is a goodfaith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Production Worker: Support manufacturing processes by producing products, operating machinery, and performing quality checks

Position Summary:
Seeking a results-driven Quality Manager to oversee day-to-day plant quality operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that product, supplier, and customer quality standards are consistently met or exceeded. Reporting directly to the Corporate Quality Director, this role offers the opportunity to lead quality systems for a fast-paced, high-output operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead quality assurance activities across production, supplier management, and customer response.
- Drive compliance with IATF 16949 standards, including internal audits and certification maintenance.
- Oversee the review and disposition of nonconforming materials and initiate corrective actions.
- Develop and implement quality requirements for new products and processes.
- Maintain calibration programs and ensure accuracy of precision measurement tools.
- Monitor production lines to verify adherence to quality standards and drive continuous improvement.
- Interface directly with customers to resolve quality concerns and provide detailed corrective action responses.
- Champion a culture of quality throughout the plant.
- Strong understanding of automotive quality systems, including PPAP, APQP, and FMEA.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Skilled in statistical analysis and quality reporting.
- Familiarity with root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys).
- Knowledge of raw material and component specifications; ability to audit suppliers for compliance.
- Proficient in leading cross-functional quality improvement initiatives.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact confidently with executives, customers, and shop floor personnel.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Directly manages a team of quality technicians, inspectors, and engineers.
- Provides coaching, development, and performance feedback to ensure departmental objectives are met.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Office and manufacturing floor environment; extended periods of computer use and stationary work.
- Occasional lifting (up to 20 lbs), walking production areas, and travel for supplier/customer audits.
- Must have normal or corrected vision and hearing to perform inspection and communication tasks effectively.
Travel:
- Occasional travel to customer or vendor sites for audits, inspections, and meetings (less than 15%).
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent with additional technical coursework or certifications.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a quality role within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and basic GD&T.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of quality management experience in an automotive manufacturing setting.
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar credential.
