The Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for driving results in key areas of safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and continuous improvement for all Car Care manufacturing Lines.
This position requires a strong enterprise-minded leader capable of further developing a safety-first culture, a robust ITW-Toolbox operations strategy, building a diverse talent pipeline, leading continuous improvement activities that will span internal operations as well as with key suppliers.
Compensation Information:
- Directs and drives 4 production lines within the Car Care Division to achieve safety, quality, productivity, on-time delivery, and inventory goals.

- Apply capacity/scheduling model and manage manufacturing capacity and constraint issues to maintain customer service levels and meet delivery commitments.
- Support Maintenance team to proactively maintain and conserve capital equipment, including pro-active preventive maintenance and repair programs. Prioritize and align issues and activities to develop sustainable improvement in equipment performance.
- Perform special projects as requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or similar field required.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant and progressive manufacturing management experience; experience in leading production/direct labor is required. Leadership experience with direct reports that are managing people is a plus.
- P&L experience with inventory management, budgeting, and planning capabilities is a plus.
- Previous ERP experience strongly preferred.
- Change agent that demonstrates original thinking, facilitation skills, and the ability to develop innovative approaches for improving workflow and processes within the ITW Business Model.
- Understands a variety of operational excellence competencies including but not limited to: ITW Toolbox, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, Visual Management, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Kaizen, etc.
- Knowledgeable of safety and quality processes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication/presentation skills with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

+ Help drive resolution on process-related problems and technical issues

+ Own shop floor work instructions and ensure compliance with OEM Manuals

ABOUT THE ROLE
To obtain and monitor, by chemical and physical tests, representative samples from the Production Department of raw materials, feed, clinker and cement, and advise them of adjustments to ensure a quality product with a minimum of variations.
WHAT YOULL BE DOING
- Analyze raw mix with X-ray, wet or physical analysis and instruct Raw Grind on change, and assist in solving any problems.
- Monitor clinker production with X-ray or wet analysis and insure quality clinker used in cement production.
- Monitor cement production with X-ray, wet or physical analyses and oversee adjustments to proportions, admixtures, fineness and air content, assist in solving any problems.
- Record accurately and timely, data for use by management and other departments.
- Perform complete ASTM chemical and physical test on daily composite samples to insure product meets strict plant standards.
- Perform periodic calibration and preventive maintenance checks on all equipment and maintain chemical solutions.
- Run proficiency samples against other labs.
- Take inventories of gypsum and admixtures.
- Perform microscopic evaluation of cement and clinker.
- Run heat content on calorimeter.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Required Work Experience: At least one year experience in industrial laboratory situation
Required Computer and Software Skills: General computer proficiency

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform incoming inspections on purchased parts, subassemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and customer standards.
- Review Material Test Reports (MTR) and Certificates of Conformance (CofC) against relevant standards.
- Analyze Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) to identify trends and generate Corrective Action Reports (CAR) as needed.
- Create Non-Conformance Reports and other departmental reports as assigned.
- Evaluate issues and make initial recommendations for corrective actions to supervisors.
- Investigate failures to determine root causes and propose remedial actions.
- Minimum of four years' experience in quality control within the industrial manufacturing sector.
- Experience with Positive Material Identification (PMI) preferred.
- Proficient in computerized record-keeping and standard software applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Skilled in using and calibrating precision measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, height gauges, calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges).
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008/2015 and API standards.
- Ability to analyze and determine the best inspection methods for product conformity.
- Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and understanding Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting delivery requirements.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have 20/20 vision (correctable) without color blindness.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Checking that the assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures and complies with legal requirements Reviewing blueprints, electrical schematics, and specifications to compare to produced goods and generating an inspection report to document all deviations.
