The Quality Engineering team is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Engineer to join their dynamic team. The primary responsibility of this role is to monitor, maintain, and improve Quality indicators from both our manufacturing shops and supply base. The successful candidate will support the Quality objective to provide the highest quality vehicle to our customers.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and manage Quality Standards related to Suppliers, In-House Manufacturing Shops, and Completed Vehicle.
+ Assure Change-point Management for Suppliers, In-House Manufacturing Shops, and Design.
+ Provide technical support and daily problem-solving for part and shop issues within the Manufacturing Shop.
+ Communicate, coordinate, and negotiate to solve complex problems with cross-functional teams.
+ Act as Quality Window Person to Design and provide Design Technical Support.
+ Develop technical procedures and produce engineering reports.
+ Manage field and warranty issues for the responsible area.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
+ Ability to work effectively in a team setting with strong communication skills.
+ Experience developing and reviewing technical documents such as drawings, reports, manuals, and technical specifications.
+ Ability to create presentations for diverse audiences.
+ Basic understanding of Problem-Solving Tools such as TBP, 8D, Fishbone, 4M, and 5 Why.
+ Basic understanding of Risk Analysis Tools such as PFMEA.
+ Basic understanding of automotive systems.
+ Manufacturing experience.
+ Automotive experience is a significant advantage.
+ Experience in Lean manufacturing, Root cause analysis, Process engineering, Mechanical engineering, Manufacturing processes, Continuous improvement, Assembly, and Electrical engineering.
+ Familiarity with the automotive industry and PPAP.
+ Knowledge of ISO 9001.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
