**Overview**
QUALITY CONTROL SPECIALIST (BSAD)
Bowhead seeks a Quality Control Specialist to support our upcoming contract located in Charleston, SC.
**Responsibilities**
+ Make quality system available to the Government for review at both a program and worksite services level during predetermined visits.
+ Provide, as requested by the Government, a copy of the quality Assurance Plan (QAP) and any other quality related documents.
+ Develop and maintain quality processes or Quality Management System (QMS) processes that coincide with the Government's Manage quality processes which address Quality Control, quality Assurance, Software quality, and/or project quality System tasks.
+ Use best industry practices including, when applicable, ISO/IEC 15288:2015 for System life cycle processes and ISO/IEC 12207:2017 for Software life cycle processes.
+ Support and/or participate in Acquisition Milestones, Phases, and Decision Points, which are standard elements of the Defense Acquisition System and support DoDD 5000.01 and DoDI 5000.02.
+ Provide technical program and project management support that will mitigate the risks to successful program execution including employment and objective evidence of Lean Six Sigma, Risk Management, and System Engineering methodologies: and System and Software Engineering best practices.
+ Perform all quality assurance process audits necessary in the performance of the various tasks as assigned and identified in the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) or by the respective WBS, POA&M, or quality system/QMS documentation in support of continuous improvement.
+ Deliver related QAP and any associated procedural documents upon request.
+ Perform all quality control inspections necessary in the performance of the various tasks as assigned and identified in the contractor QAP or by the respective WBS, POA&M, or quality system/QMS documentation, and submit the related quality objective evidence upon request.
**Qualifications**
+ High School diploma/GED, related military experience, or trade/industrial school graduate.
+ Ten (10) years professional experience solving technical problems.
+ Trained in the skills and techniques related to engineering and/or software design/maintenance.
+ Possess a practical understanding of engineering concepts.
+ Ensures that the product/service and process meet quality and safety standards.
+ Experience includes testing equipment to make sure that the process operates effectively and safely.
+ Individual shall be able to interpret plans and drawings and contribute to the design and fabrication of test specimens.
+ Should have experience in computer aided drafting (CAD), ability to prepare shop drawings for model construction, and be familiar with material specifications and fabrication methods.
+ Three (3) years of technical experience in support of design, testing, deployment, and operations within ISR/IO or C4ISR systems.
+ Individual shall have or be able to attain within 30 Days of assignment be able to attain Information Assurance Technical (IAT) II certification.
+ Experience with full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment using Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
+ Proficient with utilizing DevOps tools for build, deploy, and patch automation (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, BMC, or Similar).
+ Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
**Physical Demands:**
+ Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
+ Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
+ Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically

Maximus is looking for a Quality Control / Quality Assurance Admin III to support our DMCS program under our Department of Education portfolio.

This will be a Limited Service position. You will be hired on a contingency basis with limited time of service.

The Quality Control / Quality Assurance Admin III will provide quality control reviews for functions supporting the Debt Management Collection Services (DMCS) program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgement in resolving issues.
- Follow procedures and directions to assess the quality of service provided through monitoring incoming calls and other work types which focusing on the quality of customer service, accuracy of information provided, and adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Conduct call monitoring sessions to ensure workers are performing in accordance with established quality and performance standards.
- Provide feedback on call monitoring results.
- Evaluate recorded and/or transcribed interactions of a complex nature between the caller/chatter/correspondent and the worker, and provide appropriate context of ratings.

Additional Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Monitor and evaluate correspondence and phone activities and complete scorecards to assess each item according to guidance provided and provide a constructive assessment.

- Maintain and update databases, score cards, reports, and documents with high degree of accuracy.

- Identify accounts requiring escalation, escalating immediately if warranted.

- Utilize the feedback tool to give and receive constructive feedback on call quality and department tasks.

- Preform administrative functions that support the process of reports and appeals.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal regulations, policies, and procedures as they apply to student financial aid.

- Maintain current understanding of the processing procedures.

- Utilize available systems, knowledge-base and standard technology such as telephone, e-mail, and web browser to respond to inquiries and perform job duties.

- Identify trends in the information provided by agents to identify areas of improvement and areas that might require additional training.

- Organize, lead, or participate in calibration meetings including the selection of topics to be evaluated and discussed,

- Assist with new hire presentations, assignments, and certifications.

- Demonstrate and maintain appropriate judgment with confidential information.

- May perform other functions as requested by management within scope of level or occasional support of lower-level functions as business/volume need require

Additional Requirements as per contract/client:

- Department of Education and Student Loan experience preferred

- Quality Assurance experience required

- High School Diploma or GED required

- Must reside in the U.S.

- Must be a U.S. citizen.

- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

- Must not be delinquent or in default on any federal student loans.

- Employment and continued employment are contingent upon obtaining and maintaining a favorable clearance. Final suitability determination is the sole discretion of the Department of Education.

- Obtaining and Maintaining a PIV-I card is a requirement of this position. PIV-I cards must be picked up in person. New and existing employees may need to travel via car, train, or plane to a designated location to pick up their new or replacement PIV-I card. Any travel expenses will be paid for by Maximus.

Minimum Requirements

- High School diploma or equivalent with 2-4 years of experience.
- Associate degree preferred.
- May have training or education in area of specialization.

Qualifications Continued:

- Accurate data entry skills

- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products

- Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment

- Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently

- Ability to write using proper grammar, punctuation, sentence structure and pass a written test

- Applicants will be required by contract to undergo program update training as student financial assistance programs change, as well as required employee training

Position Summary:

In this position Manufacturing Technician primary duties will include operating machines, packing ammunition, and performing quality inspections. This position requires absolute discipline and attention to detail with regard to product quality assurance and documentation.

Shift: 2nd Shift

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs pre operation, inspection to ensure all parts of the machine are free from debris and obstruction.
  • Performs pre operation check to ensure all raw materials are loaded in machine.
  • Starts machine, ensuring cooling system is working.
  • Observes machine functions to ensure normal operation.
  • Inspects the first run to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Clears jammed parts, injectors, barrels as needed.
  • Cleans and lubes machine as per owner's manual.
  • Keeps equipment operational.
  • Corrects malfunctions.
  • Cleans machine at the end of the shift.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment at all times by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Performs Operator Level Quality Assurance /checks on parts being produced.
  • Pack ammunition into appropriate packaging for sale/distribution
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Entry Level!
  • Excellent eyesight with or without correction for close inspection work.
  • Knowledge of firearms and ammunition .
  • Sound technical skills and ability to fix problems with any type of machines.
  • Ability to pay attention to details.
  • Sound understanding of the working mechanism of the hand tools or the machinery.
  • Ability to work independently and to multi task.
  • Good communication skills and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

JOB TYPE : Full-time, 2nd shift 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand and work for extended hours.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 60lbs and 30lbs above shoulder level.
  • Must wear proper safety equipment, including work toe shoes, gloves, safety glasses and hearing protection, etc.
  • Ability to hear soft and loud noises and respond accordingly.
  • Ability to bend, twist, turn and reach.
  • Ability to see objects closely and from a distance.
  • Ability to be aware of changing work environment and operate equipment in a safe manner.
