An employer sitting in Simi Valley, CA is looking to hire a Manufacturing Engineering Manager who will be managing the Manufacturing Engineering Department to provide support to internal and external manufacturing facilities and resolve any manufacturing or related issues on sustaining and new products. Ensures product quality and delivery schedule requirements for mechanical/electrical subassemblies, and final integration and testing of systems. Works closely with the other functional leaders and Program Managers to execute key objectives and programs to meet schedules and budgets. This role will be responsible to shape the strategy, provide strategic leadership, and guide the success of all responsible engineering efforts. This role is paying between $118,000-$165,000/year.
Duties
 · Create short and long-term plans that effectively communicate to leadership, operations, and program management tasks to meet critical program milestones for the entire AV operations
 · Apply advanced manufacturing processes, model-based manufacturing, and development of manufacturing strategy
 · Develop advanced tools to analyze delivery, capacity, costs vs benefits, supply chain, and operations to guide executive decisions in anticipation of change
 · Develop and manage strategy for production line product flow, tooling, training and build process and ensure all are updated according the latest design configuration, including estimation and maintenance of capital requisitions
 · Leads implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles and apply Six Sigma methodology to achieve continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and lead time reduction
 · Leverage operational data to identify trends, propose leading indicators, and provide predictive information to steer executive decisions
 · Ensure that Manufacturing Engineering operations are validated and well documented, and in compliance with internal regulatory and safety policies
 · Develop and manage financial and manpower budget for manufacturing engineering, adhering to established budget parameters
 · Change Management leader, lead implementation task forces to implement stages of best practices
 · Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understand of current business trends

**Summary**
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for technical aspects of the manufacturing process. + Basic project management skills required.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Address and close quality records (Deviations, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), CAPA-Effectiveness Verifications, Supplier Event Notifications and Investigations (SICAR /EN), and Change Control) under the company's quality management system procedures and ensures compliance with regulatory agency requirements.
+ Monitors and investigate deviations owned by External Supply and implements corrective / preventive actions. Partner cross-functionally across the site to ensure maturity and execution of robust Deviations / CAPA process
+ Build and present quality records summaries for Senior Management review. Provide timely and comprehensive process and status updates to senior management.
**Top 3 must have skills:**
+ Quality record owner experience (I.e. Deviations, Supplier investigations, CAPA, and Change Control)
+ Basic knowledge of Veeva or Trackwise
+ Biotech industry experience

**Role Summary:**
As a Sr. Manufacturing Technician, you will lead Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) and Effectiveness Verifications (EVs) across clinical manufacturing operations. You'll also play a key role in continuous improvement efforts and apply project management skills to ensure quality, compliance, and operational excellence.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Own and execute CAPAs and EVs across multiple manufacturing areas
+ Drive audit-ready documentation and root cause analysis
+ Recommend and implement improvements to enhance quality and efficiency
+ Collaborate across departments including Quality, Validation, Engineering, and Regulatory
+ Track and manage tasks using project management tools
+ Comply with GMP standards, SOPs, and safety protocols
**Qualifications:**
**Required:**
+ High school diploma/GED and 10+ years of experience
+ OR Associate's degree + 5 years
+ OR Bachelor's + 3 years
+ OR Master's + 2 years
+ Background in science, engineering, or related field
**Preferred:**
+ Experience managing CAPAs and EVs (especially using systems like Veeva)
+ Solid understanding of manufacturing and GMP environments
+ Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills
+ Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Agile, Smartsheet, Lean Six Sigma)
**Daily Focus:**
Lead multiple CAPAs/EVs, validate corrective actions, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement. Facilitate cross-functional meetings and deliver results that support a culture of operational excellence.

We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for aCNC Manufacturing Machinistto join a leading Company located in theThousand Oaks, CAsurrounding area.
Pay Rate: $28 - $32
Responsibilities :
+ Setting up and operating CNC machining equipment, including Lathes (Single and Dual Spindle and Turret ), Honing Machines (Mandrill Sunnen Machines), Grinders (OD and ID Grinders), and Deburring tools.
+ Disassemble, assemble, and adjust cutting dies and sources in presses.
+ Measure, inspect, and evaluate parts against detailed specifications ; make precise adjustments.
+ Monitor machine performance, ensure safety compliance, and perform routine maintenance.
+ Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve machine malfunctions efficiently.
+ Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
+ Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned.
Basic Hiring Criteria :
+ High school diploma or equivalent required; technical /trade school diplom a.
+ Minimum 3-5 years of setup experience operating CNC and manual equipment in a manufacturing environment
+ Certification in CNC Machining, Manufacturing Technology, or related fields preferred.
+ Strong understanding of machining principles, tolerances, and quality standards (ASME, ISO).
+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex machining issues.
+ Strong communication skills (reading, writing, speaking).
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
