The position requires availability to work Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with the addition of approximately one Saturday per month. As branch operating hours extend beyond these times, the Plant Manager may occasionally need to be present during these extended hours to address operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee branch operations, ensuring asset protection, achievement of production and financial goals, performance management through key performance indicators (KPIs), continuous improvement initiatives, and effective communication via regular staff meetings.
  • Lead SHE Strategy: Implement and oversee Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) strategy, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company requirements. Meet reporting requirements.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement Strategy: Develop and implement site CI program and ensure 6S is sustained across site.
  • P&L Responsibility: Oversee profit and loss for branch manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Lead: Provide technical support and advice on all aspects of operations.
  • Facility Capital Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive facility capital plan supported by sound business cases.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Liaise with local regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with operating requirements as needed

Qualifications Summary

  • Bachelor's degree in Applied Science preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a heavy industry or fabrication environment is required.
  • Must have over five years of experience managing direct reports.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and practices is required.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and project management.
  • The ideal candidate will be proficient in the areas of welding, cut tables, and press forming.
  • Must be able to travel up to 5% domestically and internationally.

The QA/QC Inspector plans and conducts activities concerned with the quality assurance of industrial processes, materials, and products by performing the following duties. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plans and conducts the analysis, inspection, design, test, and/or integration to assure the quality of assigned product or component.
  • Performs quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records.
  • Reviews all purchased products or components and provides input to the decision of whether the product has been vetted by ACCO for future purchases from the vendor.
  • Documents data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with company policies, codes and procedures.
  • Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provides recommended process improvements to management.
  • Prepares reports to communicate involvement and results of quality assurance activities.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of codes and specifications for current industry quality standards.
  • The quality team may assign other duties.

Secondary Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Develops new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities.
  • Prepares and presents technical information and reports to team members and management.
  • Directs technical and administrative workers engaged in quality assurance activities.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Site QC Supervisor or QA/QC Director in conjunction with the project team.

JOB SUMMARY:Responsible for applying principals of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures are maintained.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Prepares accurate and timely monthly and quarterly analyses according to the financial closing calendar.Prepares all account analysis (Flux file) & forecasting processes including the accuracy of standard costs, month end closing and any plant financial forecasts and projectionPrepares and inputs journal entries.Reviews books of original entry, general ledgers, and other subsidiary financial ledgers.Executes financial goals in partnership with plant and under the direction of ManagerPrepares and tracks CAPEX budget in comparison to actuals, along with disposal & cycle counts of assets.Responsible for the explanation of the plant performance, explaining all production variances on a monthly basis as well as participating in the proactive measures to reduce variances from standard cost.Reports variances to manager and prepare reporting standards in a manner that plant management can understand and take corrective action.Executes financial goals in partnership with plant and under the direction of Manager.Performs other duties as assigned by Manager.Regular and reliable attendance.Financial Operations & ControlsSupports plant management team to ensure that accountability for internal controls is clear and processes are documented.Establishes, modifies, documents, and coordinates the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures with corporate following corporate standards & policies.As directed by Manager, provides guidance to ensure that internal accounting controls are in place to protect company assets.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, or degree in Finance plus experience.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.Minimum of 5 years of previous general ledger accounting experience, specifically in the manufacturing industry.Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles, economic principles, applicable laws, codes and regulations.Knowledge of financial systems, budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis.Effective analytical skills to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Effective communication skills.Ability to multi-task in a deadline driven environment.Ability to work independently to make decisions based on previously developed practices and procedures.Computer skills to include Microsoft D365 (SAP modern ERP systems) and MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Occasional domestic travel is required.
