**The Job:**
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll be part of our Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing (CAM)/EA Patten, a primary division of Stanley Black & Decker Aerospace, working as an on-site employee. As the Manufacturing Engineer, an entry level position, in our Columbia, CT facility, you will help support the engineering team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn and grow skills in various disciplines. i.e. Manual and CNC machining, drafting, modeling, additive manufacturing (3D printing), Inspection methods, non-destructive testing, process improvement, product requirements, etc. Your job responsibilities will include:
+ Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products and processes.
+ Research customer specifications, and new processes.
+ Troubleshoot existing shop floor processes, tools, and equipment.
+ Design tooling for new and improving existing processes.
+ Produce engineering drawings for new products.
+ Interact with customers, operators, sales reps and vendors.
+ Review and implement manufacturing drawing and engineering change notices.
+ Evaluate data and product specifications to determine the feasibility of product proposal.
+ Analyze data and reports to determine if design meets specifications.
+ Reduce waste and increase capacity/efficiency through application of continuous improvement tools (i.e. structured problem solving, setup reduction, organization and standardization of machining centers, mistake-proofing in tool/fixture design).

+ An associate's degree is required. Bachelor's degree in engineering, metallurgy or materials science preferred.
+ 3+ years of process/manufacturing engineering experience is preferred in applying advanced engineering principles in a metal forming manufacturing environment.

Manufacturing is a pillar within Meta's Delivery Team supporting data center construction. We exist to support the predictable delivery of capacity at scale through manufactured solutions.The Manufacturing Team's primary focus is supply chain engagement and optimization. We accept Manufacturing Informed Designed (MID) components and orchestrate their detailing and prototyping to optimum manufacturability then work with our partners in Delivery to plan logistics and integration to avoid challenges in construction.This team is comprised of strategic designers, strategic builders, tactical specialists, plus internal and external subject matter experts (SME) including preconstruction managers, contractors, schedulers, equipment reliability engineers, and sourcing specialists. This position will lead program management of all manufactured components in support of Meta's RPL project. This mega-project is of such scale that it requires a high-performing PM to drive strategic and tactical aspects of first-of-kind prototyping, logistics, and integration. Never before have we relied so heavily on offsite construction; a necessity here to deliver a project of this magnitude on an aggressive timeline. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the timely delivery of this capacity on what will be the largest project in Meta's history and one of a few of the largest data centers in the world.
**Required Skills:**
Program Manager, Manufacturing Responsibilities:
1. Program Management - Lead coordination, document, and anticipate program needs to ensure cost, schedule, and quality in concert with the mega-project construction

CSI is hiring for a Manufacturing Materials Specialist at our Springfield, MO location.

This job requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and utilizes database software that is heavily relied upon to perform the tasks of this position. The Manufacturing Material Specialist duties include:

Primary Functions:

Inbound

  • Check in and receive all types of material per procedure
  • Receive and document lot tracked material per procedure
  • Put away parts and stage job material in appropriate work cell or staging area
  • Clear off and clean up receiving dock at the end of each work day
  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Collect, capture, maintain and scan all documentation per procedure

Job Material Management

  • Retrieve issued job material from staging area and take to point of use
  • Pick inventory and take to point of use
  • Cleaning of parts for manufacturing
  • Assisting manufacturing commensurate with skill

o Welding, Polishing, Machining, Inspection of product

  • Process job return check in
  • Communicate with Project Managers, Shop Supervisors and Coordination when discrepancies are noticed or questions arise
  • Work in a manner consistent with safety principles and procedures established by CSI

Outbound

  • Assemble and disassemble parts and equipment
  • Package products for safe and secure shipment

o Crating, bagging, shrink wrapping, etc.

  • Communicate with Project Managers, Shop Supervisors, Coordination and Logistics team to ship correct product for on time delivery to customer
  • Ship parcels, LTL and truckload shipments per procedure
  • Make local pickup/ deliveries to support both Fabrication and Distribution activities

General

  • Cycle count inventory per schedule
  • Assist with cleanup of manufacturing area, buildings, grounds, and vehicles

o This may include removal of cardboard, pallets, and trash from shop

  • Local pick-up and delivery of vehicles
  • Removal of metal chip barrels
  • Complete assigned product, process, safety, and systems training in person, via CORE and ELC
  • Support Distribution Center activities, as needed

Salary: $20 - $24 per hour

Hours: 7 am - 3:30 pm

Education/Training :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain a forklift certification, required
  • Class E Driver’s License, required

Experience :

  • Carpentry experience, preferred
  • Computer knowledge, required
  • Epicor Kinetic software, preferred

Warehouse positions require constant walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and stooping and operation of warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. The employee must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as a phone, copy/fax/scan machine, computer keyboard and mouse with or without reasonable accommodation. The employee must also frequently lift and/or move items up to 75 pounds with assistance. Visual acuity is required to perform work using close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee may be exposed to environmental factors typical of a warehouse. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment, such as gloves, safety glasses and steel toe shoes.

+ Rewrite Process Instructions for new Asset Management system, working with digital equipment documentation to be migrated into the Maximo EAM using current equipment binders.

Job Overview
We are currently seeking a dynamic, highly motivated, and experienced individual for the position of Executive Director, Commercial Manufacturing. This role is responsible for setting and executing strategic directions to ensure the successful delivery of SMPA's commercial portfolio of products. The Executive Director will lead the RSM/API department, by alignment with business objectives and operational excellence across all commercial manufacturing suppliers.
**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Oversee hiring to build an effective drug substance manufacturing team; create and communicate a clear vision among direct reports, effectively align resources, and motivate teams to achieve goals.
+ Manage drug substance CMOs for manufacturing operations, technology transfers, investigations, and batch documentation reviews and responsible for continuous improvement and operational excellence at CMOs.
+ Develop and Lead Drug Substance Strategy that includes areas for process improvements which lead to cost savings and/or manufacturing efficiencies
+ As a leader on the Commercial Manufacturing Team, integrate internal and external team activities into the manufacturing operations and present plans and progress to the Senior Leadership Team.
+ Collaborate with the process and analytical development, quality, and regulatory functions to establish a robust, compliant clinical supply chain to support company objectives.
+ Champion regulatory and technical documents for regulatory submissions in support of manufacturing and serve as subject matter expert in regulatory interactions.
+ Maintain a high level of safety, compliance, and efficiency to drive the organization to world-class manufacturing standards.

The base salary range for this role is $250,200 to $312,800. Our robust time-off policy includes flexible paid time off, 11 paid holidays plus additional time off for a shut-down period during the last week of December, 80 hours of paid sick time upon hire and each year thereafter. Total compensation, including base salary to be offered, will depend on elements unique to each candidate, including candidate experience, skills, education and other factors permitted by law.

**What You Will Do**
Global Supply Chain OpX Team is looking for energetic Supplier Product Manufacturing engineer to support the supplier ramp up for NGPF and F135 at the supply base. We are seeking experienced and versatile Manufacturing Engineers to support manufacturing of P&W parts at designated suppliers. This position will report directly to the Supplier Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities:
+ Supporting suppliers with manufacturing methods and processes necessary for machining, sheet metal, airfoil, forming, casting, forging and processing on complex engine parts.
+ Assessment of Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) in support of manufacturing reviews including UPPAP and PFMEA activity.
+ Coach and provide manufacturing technical support for supplier development, part transitions, source selections, and problem resolution plans. Identify any manufacturing risks in supplier technology programs.
+ Troubleshooting quality issues and (assist Suppliers with) root cause and corrective actions.
+ (Assist Suppliers with) Developing manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods conferring with P&W functional engineering.
+ Lead manufacturing decision-making activities at supplier and provide input for process improvement, cost reduction and automation.
