General Summary:
The Manufacturing Coordinator performing various electrical fabrication tasks under the direct supervision of the Division Manager. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturing processes run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and continuous improvement principles. You will be responsible for managing scope, timeline, cost, risk, and quality to ensure successful project completion and alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities may include some, or all the following:
- Lead end-to-end manufacturing initiatives, including new product introductions, process improvements, continuous improvement, and facility expansions.
- Monitor, analyze, and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Develop detailed project plans, including time studies, resources, and deliverables.
- Support the introduction of new products and processes into the production environment.
- Monitor project progress and performance; identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Ensure projects comply with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and quality expectations.
- Coordinate with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams on process enhancements and root cause investigations.
- Conduct training for production staff on equipment, processes, and safety procedures.
- Assist in the implementation of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and deliver regular status reports and presentations to stakeholders and senior management.
- Manage project documentation and records.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Performs job in a safe manner, understanding and following safety policies and procedures and makes suggestions to improve the workplace.
Preferred Job Skills:
- Always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- OSHA 10 Hour, CPR, and First Aid trained.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., automotive, aerospace, medical device).
- Able to maintain high levels of productivity, meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- Must be an effective and professional communicator.
Experience & Requirements:
- License:Valid state driver's license.
- Certification: Lean Six Sigma 6 Black Belt Preferred
- Education:Bachelors degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production support role.
Mandatory Hiring Requirements:
References, Background Check, Drug Screen Testing, Valid Drivers License.
Working Conditions:
- Job requires working in all weather elements; heat, cold, rain, or snow, depending on job location and time of year.
- Combination of office and manufacturing floor environment.
- Work from all types of ladders and be able to transport/relocate ladders unassisted.
- You must wear all personal protective equipment as required
- Must be able to regularly work 40 hours per week plus overtime as required.
Required Physical/Mental Functions:
- Positively identify colors of wire and other items as required.
- Comprehension of construction drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Bend conduit using hand benders.
- Must have the ability to safely use required power tools.
- Comprehend and practice safe work procedures as outlined in Company Safety Handbook.
- Operate two handed tools as required. Cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, etc.
- Operate company truck with manual and automatic transmission.
- Read and interpret maps, instructional manuals, work site directions, and written instructions.
- Must hear and see well (either natural or with correction).
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull and reach overhead.
- Able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Tolerant to prolonged standing and movement on foot.
- Climb ladders (all types).
- Must be able to make transition from employee parking area or street into construction work areas and to gain access to all levels of the building, even if the only means of access is by O.S.H.A. approved site construction ladder or stairs still under construction but acceptable for use.
- Must be able to secure tools and materials from storage areas to complete assigned tasks.

+ **Diagnose and Repair:** Identify and fix mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment issues, replacing faulty components as needed.
+ **Emergency Response:** Quickly address equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
+ **Preventive Maintenance:** Conduct and document planned maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance.
+ **Equipment Reliability:** Responsible for keeping equipment in top condition for safe and efficient production results as well as identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and maintenance procedures.
+ **Safety and Compliance:** Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and regulations.
+ **Utilize Tools and Equipment:** Safely operate cranes, hoists, hand/power tools, precision measurement tools, and electronic testing devices.

+ **Inventory Management:** Maintain parts and tools inventory, ensuring organization and availability.
+ **Documentation:** Keep detailed logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.

**What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?**
+ **Education:**
+ HS diploma or GED required.
+ **Technical Skills:**
+ At least 3 years of total experience in industrial maintenance, or a technical degree (Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing and Maintenance, and Electronics Engineering Technology or similar) with 1 year of experience in industrial maintenance.
+ Ability to use technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
+ Understanding of electric motors and motor systems, with essential electrical knowledge and troubleshooting ability (480 volts and lower).
+ Basic familiarity with instrumentation such as level, flow, temperature, PLCs, and HMIs.
+ Robust mechanical knowledge of conveying systems, rotating equipment, fans, pneumatics, and packaging equipment.
+ **Physical Requirements:**
+ Capable of lifting at least 50 lbs., frequently walking up/downstairs, and comfortable entering confined spaces.
+ Ability to arc (stick) and MIG weld are preferred (Stainless welding a plus).
+ Must be able to work overtime and weekends during peak seasons as needed to support business demands.
+ **Communication Skills:**
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
**Compensation at ICL:** If you are hired at ICL, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. We also offer a generous benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).

Walmart is opening its third owned and operated milk processing facility in Robinson, Texas, scheduled to begin operations in 2026. The state-of-the-art facility will process and bottle a variety of milk options, including Gallon, Half Gallon, Whole, 2%, 1%, Skim, and 1% Chocolate Milk for Walmart's Great Value and Sam's Club's Member's Mark brands. This new facility represents Walmart's commitment to building a more resilient and transparent supply chain, sourcing high-quality milk primarily from Texas dairy farmers to serve more than 750 Walmart stores and Sam's Clubs throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and parts of Arkansas and Mississippi.
What you’ll do:
Completes work assignments by utilizing resources, collaborating with stakeholders, identifying priorities, communicating progress, determining improvement opportunities, and adapting to difficulties and feedback
Programs and troubleshoots automated control systems like integration, electronics, robotics, fiber optic sensors, pneumatic-hydraulic controls, touch panels, programmable logic controls, and human-machine interface
Utilizes one-line and electrical schematic designs, electrical equipment controls, instrumentations, and configurations (for example, pump/Variable Frequency Drive, Allen Bradley, Factory Talk, Siemens, B&R brand controllers and systems)
Provides on-call remote and on-site technical support for automation equipment and trains associates on operation and repair
Manages daily operations of automation systems by performing routine maintenance, upgrading and replacing components and control systems, continuously monitoring processes, and correcting malfunctions
Completes work orders, records, logs, and other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures
Supports plant operation quality and continuous improvement programs like Breakdown Analysis and Breakdown Deployments
Work hours:
The regular work hours will be Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, with an "on-call" rotation for weekend support. We value adaptability and a willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
QualificationsWhat you’ll bring:
3+ year's experience in maintenance or control automation
2+ years’ experience Allen Bradley, Rockwell, or Siemens PLC programming
2+ years’ experience with SCADA/HMI
