Requirements: Generally has two or more years of experience and/or demonstrated job-relevant knowledge/skills. An MFG Technician II relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Basic knowledge of standard and technical concepts, practices, and procedures. MFG Technician II performs a variety of standard, complex, and technical tasks - mechanical and electrical; works under moderate supervision; is a team member of product production and flow.
The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.
Essential Functions:
- Follows guidelines and procedures to set up and provide mechanical/electrical services that satisfy customer requirements and achieves manufacturing goals
- Performs assembly and disassembly of basic procedures utilizing drawings, blueprints, and symbols in coordination with current standard work for generator sets, engine packages, water tanks, and other manufactured products including custom products to meet customer requirements
- Participate in Rapid Improvement Workshops (RIWs) and Kaizen events to continuously improve processes, safety, and quality
- Learns skills to interpret blueprints, drawings, and installation processes
- Assists in the removal and installation of parts; disassembles and assembles components
- Learns basic skills to complete work orders and assembly of products and their components
- Ensures all installations/builds comply with specific procedures and quality standards
- Learns basics to troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions and failures; participate in RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) team to eliminate reoccurrence
- Performs and completes tasks with immediate supervision
- Communicates job progress, issues, solutions, and improvements to the team
- Completes assigned jobs and tasks to minimize variance to job or project
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; e.g., Technician Training Path
- Learns and performs processes as outlined in Standard Work to develop and maintain consistency between shifts and areas
- Transports material in an area or between areas utilizing overhead crane, jibs, carts, magnets, and other devices
- Works as a member of the manufacturing team to provide high-quality products that satisfy the customer (internal and external) and achieves manufacturing goals
- Owns performance of equipment and work area through regular operator checks and maintenance resulting in operational equipment and work areas in good, clean, and orderly condition (Operator Performed Maintenance - OPM, and 5S)
- Observes and adheres to all safety aspects/policies/training/call outs at all times and requires reporting of all near misses and incidents
- Adheres to contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations
- Assists with quality inspections, complete reports/documents, and any other necessary paperwork, and enforces required rework before customer
- Communicate variances to established processes for an area or product
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Works overtime as required by workload and customers' needs

Responsibilities
+ Safety: Create an environment where safety is the number one priority in every activity that you do, driving safety improvements and conducting safety gembas routinely. Be present on the floor promoting a culture of zero safety incidents in compliance with all EHS requirements.
+ People: Responsible for daily effective deployment of team members and ensure tasks are appropriately delegated to meet the production schedule. Ensure that team members are trained to the required standards of their job. Drives engagement with team by having regular 1:1s, conducts performance reviews and has survey actions plans in place. Ensure time and attendance is approved on time each week so that employees are paid correctly. Communicating effectively with team cascading important info.
+ Operational: Provides assistance in developing weekly goals and production schedules to determine unit assignments and critical actions with little or no supervision. Responsible for the effective coordination of the activities within the shift to meet the production schedule. Ensure a smooth shift handover with the next manager to ensure departmental activities are planned and executed safely.
+ Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory agencies. Implement a proactive compliance management process where material checks, line clearance checks and spot checks are conducted routinely. Effectively manage any compliance issue that arises during shift that could potentially impact on lot completion.
+ Performance: Responsible for change-over time management and complete cycle time management. Continuously seeks to identify improvements and supports the implementation of process improvement projects. Responsible for managing resources across all of production to maximize shift throughput. Qualifications

Job Description:
The Manufacturing Engineering Manager is responsible for technical and administrative leadership of the Manufacturing Engineering (ME) and Continuous Improvement (e3) groups within Operations. The ME/e3 team supports the Hangar Dock & Line, Manufacturing and Engineering teams at the L3Harris Waco site.
This individual will collaborate with management and subject matter experts to identify efficiency opportunities and implement strategies to excuete. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management and a proven track record of leading teams to success.
Essential Functions:
+ Leads and directs team by providing direction on all facets of ME/e3.
+ Responsibilities include work prioritization, team briefings, personnel development, performance evaluation, and succession planning.
+ Partners with other organizations to create and execute improved manufacturing plans which drive measurable improvements
+ Support a culture of continuous improvement, "Right the First Time", Safety First, audit ready, and Policy & Security compliance
+ Ability to delegate tasks, manage resources effectively, and drive team performance to achieve organizational objectives.

+ Familiarity with automated systems, supply chain management, and scalability techniques to meet production demands while minimizing downtime and costs.
+ Strong understanding of development strategies.
+ Experience with logistics/production process flows/factory floor layout
+ Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.
+ Practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, tactics, and employees within a team.

Qualifications:

**About the Team:**
Walmart is opening its third owned and operated milk processing facility in Robinson, Texas, scheduled to begin operations in 2026. The state-of-the-art facility will process and bottle a variety of milk options including Gallon, Half Gallon, Whole, 2%, 1%, Skim, and 1% Chocolate Milk for Walmart's Great Value and Sam's Club's Member's Mark brands. This new facility represents Walmart's commitment to building a more resilient and transparent supply chain, sourcing high-quality milk primarily from Texas dairy farmers to serve more than 750 Walmart stores and Sam's Clubs throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and parts of Arkansas and Mississippi.
**What** **you'll** **do:**
+ Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by developing relationships with key stakeholders, supporting initiatives to meet customer and business needs,identifying goals and objectives, measuring progress in achieving results, addressing improvement opportunities, and promoting continuous learning
+ Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and ensuring diversity awareness
+ Monitors work plans, workloads, and associates in order to meet deadlines by talking with associates to solve problems, resolving delay issues to stay on schedule, and using systems to audit progress and identify concerns early within a shift

+ Ensures that associates are trained to properly make repairs to equipment (for example, material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, electrical systems, air compressors, ammonia refrigeration equipment, conveyers, monitoring the energy center where applicable, general building repairs)
+ Supports production by ensuring quality operation of machinery and mechanical equipment
+ Assigns and supports activities to ensure compliance with external rules and regulations (for example, OSHA, Hazardous Waste, NFPA, Storm Water, DOT, etc.) and assigns and supports the maintenance of the automated material handling equipment and systems that support the plant
**What** **you'll** **bring:**
+ 2+ years' experience in a Walmart maintenance technician position; or 3+ years' experience in industrial maintenance (for example, welding, refrigeration, electrical, electronics)
+ 3+ years' experience supervising 10+ employees and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees in industrial maintenance (for example, welding, refrigeration, electrical, electronics)
+ Nice to have:2+ years' degree or certification in a maintenance or reliability related field (for example, welding, refrigeration, electrical, electronics, mechanical engineering, predictive maintenance tools)
+ Nice to have: Wastewater/ water treatment training, ammonia training, PLC training, Allen Bradley and PLC digital displays, LOTO (lock out, tag out), GMP, 5S, Six Sigma, Breakdown analysis, and Center-lining settings
+ Nice to have: SAP/CMMS experience
**Work hours:**
The Robinson, TX Milk Processing Facility is projected to be running at full capacity in March 2026. Once the facility is running at full capacity, the regular work hours will be Sunday- Wednesday 5:00am- 3:00pm. Until the facility is fully operational, the regular work hours will be Monday- Friday 7:00am- 3:30pm. However, please keep in mind that you will need to be flexible to work outside of regular work hours, including weekends, until the facility is running at full capacity.
