Staffmark is seeking a skilled and self-motivated Manufacturing Automation Technician for a growing facility in Willis, TX. Pay: $30 - $35 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 1st Shift
What You Bring:
- 5-8 years of experience as a building or facility maintenance technician
- NEC certification (National Electrical Code compliant)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of industrial systems
- Comfortable reading engineering drawings and schematics
- Experience using Preventative Maintenance Software is a plus
- Familiarity with LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at ceiling heights using hydraulic man-lifts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer functions
- Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
What You'll Be Doing:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and program Allen Bradley PLCs with precision.
- Perform advanced electrical diagnostics and resolve issues related to faulty wiring or malfunctioning equipment.
- Optimize servo systems and maintain HMI (Human-Machine Interface) devices.
- Conduct general building repairs including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and structural maintenance.
- Utilize root cause analysis and lateral thinking to solve recurring issues and prevent downtime.
- Perform preventative maintenance, document repair activities, and keep systems running at peak performance.
- Use a variety of tools including multimeters, man-lifts, and power tools safely and effectively.
- Work independently while collaborating cross-functionally with other technicians and departments.

**What Youll Do**
+ Dive into daily plant operations and learn how a high-performing manufacturing facility runs.
+ Lead or support projects that improve safety, quality, efficiency, and cost performance.
+ Collaborate across departments to analyze processes and recommend improvements.
+ Attend professional development activities, including a professional development week at our corporate headquarters in Colorado.
+ Meet regularly with plant leaders through weekly check-ins and mentorship opportunities.
+ Gain exposure to production and support teams while developing leadership skills.
+ Follow all plant safety practices, SOPs, and policies.
**Who We Are Looking For**
+ Current students pursuing a bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline at an accredited 4-year college or university.
+ And has completed at least one year of coursework with a graduation date of December 2026 or later
+ Students interested in pursuing a career in manufacturing and entering the workforce directly after undergrad.
+ And able to work in a fast-paced 24/7 environment, including 12-hour shifts on the plant floor when needed.
+ Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

The Inventory Quality & Control (IQC) Internship experience is a 10.5-week full-time opportunity that starts on May 27th, 2026, and concludes on August 7th, 2026. This is an on-site position with 5 days (Monday - Friday) in one of the following CVS Health distribution center locations: Conroe, TX or Kansas City, MO.
Interns who live more than 50 miles from their assigned location may be eligible for a one-time relocation stipend.
The pay rate is $25/hr with 40 hours/week, no work on July 4th (company holiday), and two days of paid leave. Additionally, our corporate interns have an increased likelihood of receiving an offer for a future role with CVS Health.
**Sponsorship:**
Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.

**Required Qualifications:**

**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Access, SQL, or similar platforms.
+ Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
+ Demonstrated leadership experience through student organizations, athletics, volunteer work, or academic projects.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.
+ Prior internship, co-op, or work experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, or a related business/technical field.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
**Education:**
+ You should be currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree
+ Have a graduation date between September 2026 and August 2027
+ Major, minor or concentration relevant to the position such as related majors: Supply Chain Management, Transportation / Logistics, Business Operations Management, Business Analytics
**Pay Range**
The typical pay range for this role is:
$5.00 - 25.00
