Job Duties Include:
The Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst is a critical role in the Monthly/Quarterly Accounting/reporting close process throughout Belvac worldwide and with the full-cycle forecasting development. The Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst will be responsible for assisting the business to implement efficient and diligent financial practices and is heavily involved in the day to day running of the forecasting function. The Role will assist in developing standard accounting procedures and business decision support, implement process and procedural improvements across the business, actively participate in the monthly financial close and other financial requirements at the Divisional and Corporate levels as well as other duties as assigned. This role will also work closely and support the Global Controller to ensure on month end close and any other adhoc projects
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, processing, consolidation, and analysis of Belvacs monthly financial results. Work closely with various personnel in reviewing the results. Help define the expectations and reporting/analytical requirements.
- Assist in preparing the various reports as required by the Business, including capital projects, cost savings, financial metrics, monthly presentations, etc.
- Participate in the ongoing user enhancement and process optimization of the IFS software company wide and own the Business Intelligence Application for the Finance group.
- Proactively support all functional areas and corporate personnel regarding operational issues, inventory management, asset management and business profitability.
- Participate in developing the annual budget and strategic plan.
- Participate in the preparation, coordination and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial projections.
- Maintains Dovers DRS financial reporting system interface.
- Ensures the local ERP financial results are properly reported into corporate.
- Assist in reporting monthly and quarterly financial information in DRS and DPLAN, including financial bridge construction.
- Backup the Financial Planning & Reporting Manager with Monthly Reporting Requirements.
- Improve & Optimize Monthly Financial Presentation for Corporate.
- Provides financial support of Belvacs locations.
- Further define and optimize Belvacs business needs through developing standard processes and best practices.
- Implement reporting process changes that monitor both financial and non-financial indicators.
- Assist with projects and other reports as needed.
- Assist in the coordination of SOX audits and helps maintains /validates SOX procedures.
- Reconciliations of various general ledger accounts.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education:
- A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related Business Degree
- Willingness to pursue a MBA or CPA in Finance/Accounting

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word.

Position Requirements:
Experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel with expertise in using PIVOT tables, VLOOKUP, and higher-level functions.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for effective and autonomous problem-solving.
Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks and regulations (e.g., CSRD) is highly desired.
Experience with Oracle EPM Cloud Planning, Alteryx, Python, and ERP systems like SAP is highly desired.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage professionally with individuals at all levels.
Strong commitment to delivering high-quality work accurately and on time.
Effective in responding to inquiries from management and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external contacts.
Strong sense of urgency, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks with strict deadlines.

Salary Range: $ 87,000.00 - $ 93,000.00
