**Principal Accountabilities**
+ Checking raw materials for quality
+ Scanning in combos to the line
+ Driving a forklift to manage inventory of raw materials
+ Notifying FSQR and Lead when foreign objects are found
+ Maintaining a safe working environment
**Required Qualifications**
+ Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
+ Must be able to read and write English
+ Must be 18 years or older
+ Must have a valid driver's license
+ Must be able to work in the US without an humanitarian Parole status related to Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua or Venezuela which is subject to the Federal Register Notice of revocation by DHS on March 25, 2025

About the Role:
The Materials Handler moves incoming and outgoing freight between delivery vehicles and storage locations within the warehouse using forklifts and pallet jacks. In addition, the job holder maintains inventory records and checks materials and equipment to be transported for flaws and defects.
What Youll Do:
Unloading and transporting (75%)
- Load and unload delivery vehicles using material handling equipment (MHE) such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Transport palletized or crated goods to and from specified warehouse locations via MHE
- Adhere to production schedule to ensure proper work priority
- Coordinate work activities with co-workers and supervisor to maintain efficient workflow
- Stack products and empty crates in assigned warehouse spaces
Recordkeeping (15%)
- Maintain records of products received and stored using scanners and manual checklists
- Cross checks item quantities received/shipped against shipping orders and notifies supervisor of inconsistencies
Examining (10%)
- Examine articles received/shipped for damages or quality deficiencies
- Report defects to supervisor in timely manner
- Check work equipment for proper functioning and perform minor maintenance such as recharging batteries and lubricating, daily

Job Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for moving, loading, and unloading material under immediate supervision in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. This role ensures that KPS Global is able to meet quality, safety, and productivity standards and satisfy customer requirements.
Major Responsibilities
- Performing duties in accordance with current Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and KPS Global Code of Conduct requirements
- Utilizing hand trucks, hoists, and other material handling equipment to move materials and products as needed for production, shipping, or waste management
- Operating hand tools including electrical and pneumatic powered tools
- Constructing shipping containers, preparing product for shipment, and crating and/or banding products as required
- Inspecting product to insure conformance to quality, engineering, and customer requirements
- Completing and maintaining accurate electronic processes and paperwork including checklists, stamping, blueprints, bar coding, and shipping/receiving systems
- Maintaining departmental housekeeping and 5S standards

Essential Functions Pulls orders and packages material for shipment to meet customer requirements using the forklift and other equipment. Receives branch-to-branch transfers, customer returns, and overseas containers within a strict time frame to ensure minimal turnaround times. Duties and Responsibilities Safely operates forklifts; follows proper procedures to take care of forklifts and other equipment. Collects products from bins following the radio frequency (RF) system. Has product inspected for accuracy and quality. Packages products per client standards. Ability to use a RF scanner Completes all necessary RF functions to allow bills of lading to be created. Loads product onto carrier's vehicles. Unloads delivery vehicles and inspects deliveries for accuracy and quality. Sweeps floors; operates the floor scrubber. Collects and disposes of trash from warehouse and yard. Inspects bins, equipment, and warehouse for safety; takes appropriate safety precautions, and wears proper personal protective equipment.
