**Position Summary:**
The Material Handler is responsible for overseeing the movement of materials and products within the facility, ensuring that everything flows smoothly in receiving and shipping. This involves operating equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks. Essential duties include unloading/loading trucks, delivering materials to production, and handling documentation for material receipts and deliveries. The Material Handler plays a crucial role in maintaining production efficiency, organizing workspace, and upholding quality standards while demonstrating adept troubleshooting skills.
**Essential Duties:**
+ Delivery of materials to production floor.
+ Analyze and estimate workload based upon order sheets
+ Perform daily, operational, routine and periodic checks on delivered raw materials.
+ Recording and inspection on equipment including cleaning, checking and adding fluids as needed.
+ Perform quality checks using microscopes, micrometer, measuring devices, digital voltmeter (optional), calipers, ruler and other related devices.
+ Use mobile equipment in daily operations to include forklifts, walkies, etc.
+ Unloading materials for delivery trucks
+ Follow work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), including safety compliance.
+ Prepare documentation as required.
+ Maintains a clean and safe work area following the 6s standard
+ Understands department workflow, processes & detailed oriented.
+ Excellent communication with co-workers verbally and in written communication.
+ Adherence to company rules and policies.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
+ Support proper implementation of processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.

**Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:**
+ To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees', wearing PPE is a possibility and includes equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator. Respirator fit test will be required based on functional area.
