Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information. Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs. Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets. Sort cargo before loading and unloading. Assemble product containers or crates, using hand tools and precut lumber. Carry needed tools or supplies from storage or trucks and return them after use. Position: Warehouse Material Handler

Job Summary

Support the production and repack operations through the physical movement of products that are required to be processed through the drying/curing room.

Pay: $15 USD/hr

Responsibilities

• Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, and containers by hand or using manual pallet jack, forklift, or other equipment as assigned.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
• Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
• Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area. Perform duties in compliance with all safety policies and practices.
• Compliance with legal environmental and safety requirements of the area.
• Know the environmental aspects of the area and its control.
• Know the environmental impacts associated with their activities.
• Follow all Environmental and Safety policies.
• Comply with procedures, regulations, and instructions of environmental and safety programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
