This position may be Monday through Saturday, depending on the region, with full-time and part-time availability. Shift and lunch times are flexible and can be determined by the physician. CannaMD physicians are independently contracted and earn up to $240,000 annually. Very competitive compensation arrangements are available.

Requirements:Per state law, all CannaMD physicians must hold an active, unrestricted license as an allopathic or osteopathic physician and comply with all state-mandated education requirements. At this time, educational requirements include:
- Completing an annual course and exam administered by either the Florida Medical Association or the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association.
Also, in line with Senate Bill 8A, CannaMD physicians may not be employed by, or have any direct or indirect economic interest in, any medical marijuana treatment centers or marijuana testing laboratories.CannaMD may, at its discretion, provide:

- Shows consistent and determined intent to be competent, meeting or exceeding the community standard of care.
- Demonstrate competent knowledge in delivering health care to patients through peer review as established through the medical staff bylaws, recommendations of each licensing Board, and clinic Quality improvement Program. Participates in the peer Contribution, carefully considering the opinions of colleagues.
- Cooperates with the rest of the medical staff in assuring after hours and Saturday and evening hour’s coverage for the clinic patients.
- Complies with other facility regulations if providing inpatient or maternity care and always represents SCHC in other facilities in a professional manner.
- Supervise PA’s and FNP’s according to the standardized procedures agreed upon which defines their scope of practice while complying with all federal and state regulations and codes.
- Supports and contributes to in a positive manner clinic effort to maintain and improve patient satisfaction in all aspects of health delivery.
- Works at maximum potential to meet productivity requirements to improve fiscal viability while maintaining quality medical care.
- Meets all time commitments by arriving on time to the clinic and working entire shift or more as needed.
- Become an integral part of the medical staff through participation in medical staff and other clinic meetings.
- Comply with Title 22 regulations regarding health care and infectious disease.

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pain Medicine Physician with surgical experience to join our multidisciplinary team. - Stay current with medical literature, CME, and DOH policy.
