*POSITION SCOPE: *
Plan and provide professional nursing care for patients at Adult Pediatric Urology & Urogynecology clinics in accordance with physicians’ orders and established policies/procedures. The Primary MA ensures timely patient flow by escorting patients to exam rooms, preparing clinic rooms/patients for the physician and maintains well stocked rooms. Responsible for reporting the medical, lab and office supplies/equipment needs to the appropriate team member. The Primary MA must be able to communicate effectively with the patient, caregivers and members of the health care team.
*ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:*
1) Collects subjective and objective data in person or by telephone. Communicates data to the NP, PA or MD in a timely fashion and carries out orders efficiently and timely. Documents any conversations or changes in the patients’ conditions, medication or prescriptions received, and plan of care in concise and logical manner. May need to assist in Call-Center duties, to include, scheduling, or re-scheduling of appointments, and answering of phones as needed. May also be required to cover triage duties as needed.
2) Provides verbal and written education to the patient regarding their condition and document such teaching in the electronic medical record. Will review and prepare electronic medical records during pre-clinic time to organize results and patient education for clinic appointments. Responsible for mailing or reviewing patient information and documenting accordingly. Must complete or delegate to the Secondary Nurse/MA to ensure all of this is done in a timely fashion.
3) Consistently acts as a customer service representative for the clinic. Therefore, will seek out appropriate guidance and direction in the performance of responsibilities and duties. Demonstrates good judgment, and reasoning skills. Respectful rapport with other nursing staff, medical staff and other departments and visitors required.
4) Ensures assistance and encourages patient compliance of future or current MD orders. Will collaborate with physicians regarding test results. Communicates relevant information between doctor and patient regarding diagnosis, and diagnostic test results. Works directly with the physician to provide optimal patient outcomes.
5) Performs clinical actions consistent with established ADPU policies/procedures, maintains acceptable standard of patient care in accordance to State and Federal regulations. Will complete clinical duties as outlined by the State’s scope of practice laws. Medical duties may include, but are not limited to, those listed on the nursing competency paperwork of which will be completed during the orientation phase of the position and is required within the first six months of employment.
6) Must work as a team member and perform actions consistent with established Adult & Pediatric Urology & Urogynecology policies and procedures including standards for safety, attendance, punctuality and personal appearance. Perform other duties as assigned.

**Position Overview:**
The Medical Director will be responsible for clinical strategy relating to upcoming clinical trials, including indication selection, design of trials, and ongoing medical monitoring of safety signals in trials. This is a remote role and candidate can be located anywhere within the US.
**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:**
+ Design of trials, including study population and eligibility criteria, treatment duration, clinical endpoints, biomarkers, and safety mitigation strategy
+ Serve as the Program Physician for associated clinical trials, addressing patient eligibility and treatment questions in collaboration with the contract research organization (CRO) medical monitor, or directly with study investigators
+ Work closely with preclinical scientists to understand how the biological effects observed in animals can be translated to humans, and use this information to choose the best clinical endpoints and biomarkers for clinical trials

+ Interpret, summarize, and present data from clinical trials to the company and externally
+ Provide strategic input for clinical development plans and regulatory strategy
+ Provide input/review of clinical documents, e.g. protocols, investigator's brochures, case report forms
+ Participate in site/investigator identification and evaluation for clinical trials; conduct site engagement calls and visits
+ Lead preparation of clinical sections of relevant regulatory filings (IND, study reports, NDA, etc.) in cooperation with colleagues in Regulatory Affairs and other functions

**Pay Scale:**
The estimated pay scale for the Medical Director (1-2) role based in the United States (non-California), is $170,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year/per hour. Additionally, the position is eligible to participate in 15% - 30% of the company bonus pool (depending on level of role). **Pay Scale:**
The estimated pay scale for the Medical Director (1-2) role based in the United States (non-California), is $170,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year/per hour. Additionally, the position is eligible to participate in 15% - 30% of the company bonus pool (depending on level of role). Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on education, experience, skillset, knowledge, where the role is performed, internal equity and market data. **For Washington State:**
Currently, the first year PTO accrual for this role is 160 hours per year. Then, after completion of 365 days of employment the PTO accrual for this role will increase to 180 hours per year.
**For California:**
The estimated pay scale for the Medical Director (1-2) role based in California, is 170,000.00- 250,000.00 per year.
Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. Frequently sits for 6-8 hours per day. Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. Occasionally walks and stands. Occasionally bends and twists neck. Light to moderate lifting and carrying objects with a maximum lift of 25lbs. Frequently drives to site locations with occasional travel within the United States. Able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken and written words and sentences. Interacts with others, relates sensitive information to diverse groups. Must work with diverse groups to obtain consensus on issues.
