Job Description
The Microsoft Acquisition and Venture Success (MAVS) purpose is to be a driving force to enable and protect Microsoft's strategic growth through acquisition/venture diligence and integration success. MAVS provides multi-disciplinary advisory services for all acquisitions and divestitures at Microsoft. We focus on comprehensive due diligence, integration/separation planning, post-close implementation, and deal performance governance with insight, clarity, and adaptable solutions that align people, product, go-to-market, and operational processes. We focus on mitigating risks, building robust integration/separation plans, and driving connections in support of compliance and deal value realization.
Our MAVS Finance and Compliance team is responsible for driving the due diligence and integration/divestiture phases of the deal lifecycle within the finance and compliance workstreams. As a Finance and Compliance Integration Manager, you will support this critical work to ensure compliant execution. This individual will have a demonstrated history of delivering projects end-to-end, from strategy formulation to execution, and have a track record of success in driving multiple priorities simultaneously. This is a high performing team of fast-paced and dedicated finance and compliance professionals who are energized by collaboration and delivering in a dynamic environment. This opportunity will allow you to develop a deep understanding of M&A and work broadly across levels and businesses within Microsoft.
Responsibilities
• Supports Finance and Compliance mergers and acquisition (M&A) activities from Due Diligence, Day 1 & Close Planning, and Post-close Integration & Governance.
• Collaborates with internal Microsoft acquisition teams such as engineering, corporate development, business development, technology, finance, legal, and human resources in support of deal strategy to align on integration planning, and performance measurement.
• Provides deal support by aiding in the financial execution of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and divestiture deal activities, such as integrated financial planning, value driver validation, due diligence, integration planning, and execution.
• Provides program management support in finance integration program execution.
• Provides support to team members.
• Assists the team in compiling content for management and target presentations.
• Provides support for deal leads progress reports.
• Supports compliance stakeholder (e.g., compliance committee) engagement execution including coverage of required topics; elevates issues to Controls & Compliance (C&C), Corporate, External, and Legal Affairs (CELA), and other relevant teams for visibility and support.
• Participates in capability improvement and Practice initiatives aimed at improving mergers and acquisition (M&A) approach and processes.
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Human Resources, or Business AND 3+ years experience in project management, business operations, finance and analysis, strategic or relationship management role

Merger & Acquisition Integration IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,100 - $69,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD 112,000 - 185,300 per year.
