Our client is seeking candidates for Computer Network Support Specialist roles to support the United States Air Force (USAF) client where we are focused on delivering support to enable and maintain U.S. military with IT support services. Positions require onsite support at Joint Base Charleston, SC.
Description of Duties:
- Analyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing network systems, such as local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system
- Support planning of IT equipment replacement (including technology refresh planning), software updates, and hardware updates/replacement/addition with unit leadership
- Create, manage and maintain, grant/deny/remove user access, and close user, group, and local e-mail and network accounts, as needed for NIPR/SIPR access in accordance with locally established processes
- Manage user permissions to network resources, security groups, distribution lists, organizational boxes and network stored data structures as requested by proper authorities.
- Install and update software on desktops, laptops, tablets and smart phones. Software must be verified on the approved Air Force list before installation
- Maintain all 437 MXG secure Tactical Local Area Network Encryption (TACLANE) devices for SIPR enclaves. This includes swap out, labeling and accountability/inventory as described below
- Accompany Government equipment custodian on TACLANE inventory/accountability checks when directed
- Ensure notifications are sent to SIPR monitors to ensure software on SIPR computers is updated. The contractor shall be responsible for the 437 MXG-IT SIPR enclaves
- Research and advise on potential software for Government purchase. Maintain 437 MXG-specific software IAW AFNOC and DAF or AFI requirements on NIPR/SIPR systems and associated VTC/SVTCs
- Set up, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot SVTC equipment including accountability and inventory
- Administer the 437 MXG and all subordinate unit SharePoint sites, including sub-pages. Manage permissions, provide SharePoint utilization advice, and provide technical solutions to maximize SharePoint effectiveness
- Develop and maintain current events and informational presentations to be displayed in MXG facilities, using Microsoft Office, Adobe and any other program authorized for use
- Attend regular meetings that require MXG-IT presence or affect MXG-IT functions and act as subject matter experts, except as prohibited
- Use the current ticketing system to submit communications work orders and trouble tickets to 628th Communications Squadron as applicable
Education, Experience, and Security Requirements:
- Possess up to three (3) years' experience in Computer Science or a related field
- Possess 8570 IAT Level II Certification IAW 8570.01-M - at a minimum CompTIA Security+
- Possess an Active Secret security clearance

SAIC is seeking a highly skilled **Network F5 Engineer** to join our team and manage complex IT infrastructures for critical Department of the Navy systems.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Design, configure, and implement F5 BIG-IP solutions including LTM and APM modules.
+ Manage and maintain existing F5 BIG-IP infrastructure, including version upgrades, security patching, and performance tuning.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve complex F5-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
+ Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for F5 configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
+ Collaborate with other IT teams, including network, security, and application teams, to ensure seamless integration and operation of F5 solutions.
+ Stay current on the latest F5 technologies and best practices, attending training and obtaining certifications as needed.
+ Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for critical F5 infrastructure.
**Qualifications**
**Required Education and Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience
+ Hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP administration, including LTM, GTM, and ASM modules.
+ Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
+ Experience with scripting languages such as Python or TCL is a plus.
**Required Certifications:**
+ Relevant F5 certifications (e.g., F5 Certified Administrator, F5 Certified Technology Specialist) are highly desired.
**Required Security Clearance:**
+ Must be a US Citizen with an active secret clearance and Top Secret eligibility.
