The Nurse Manager plays a key leadership role within the nursing and clinical teams, overseeing daily clinical and operational functions to ensure seamless patient care across the care continuum. Ensure adherence to Magnet Model principles and implement strategies that enhance clinical practice outcomes.
  • Strategic & Operational Oversight: Plan, prioritize, and execute operations efficiently, anticipating resource needs and achieving results within budget. Advocate for optimal resource allocation to support patient care and improve overall service delivery.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required Experience: A minimum of five (5) total years of professional nursing practice experience in acute and/or ambulatory care settings; with two (2) years of lead, supervisory, management, and/or leadership experience in nursing and/or health system position/role.
  • Licensure: Acute / Ambulatory Setting: A valid, unencumbered Registered Nursing License approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing.
  • Virtual Care Setting: If overseeing virtual care activities, an active compact/multistate license (eNLC) is required within 60 days of hire.
  • Certifications: BLS required. ACLS certification may be necessary depending on specialty area, post hire

The Position:

The Regional Nurse Manager will be responsible for the administration of Nursing services within the region. Directs, plans, and coordinates the service activities and staffing performance of professional nursing and auxiliary nursing personnel in rendering quality patient care.   • Assists in the management of a department budget using a modified primary nursing model and assures that other department functions proceed without interruption.
  • Secures and maintains all applicable internal, professional, local, state, federal and voluntary licensures, certifications, accreditations and employment requirements as required of staff and department.
  • Works closely with the Regional Business Leader, VP of Nursing Area Vice President to assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate clinical and administrative policies, procedures, programs and systems.
  • Assures own professional growth and clinical competence.
  • Adheres to all policies, procedures and standards of conduct.
  • Reports to the appropriate management any known or suspected violations of policies, procedures, regulations or standards of conduct.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Completes all necessary managerial tasks for direct reports including hiring, training, addressing performance issues, developing team goals and objectives, performance reviews, conflict resolution, and strategic planning.
Schedule:
  • Must be able to work In-office, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, 40 hours per week
  • Must be able to provide infusions to patients in their homes as well as the infusion Suite

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN or MSN preferred
  • Current RN Licensure by the applicable state(s) Board of Nursing, in good standing
  • Minimum 5 years Nursing practice in a related specialty such as home infusion and or specialty infusion, home health, oncology, nutrition support, IV therapy or critical care
  • Minimum 5 years Pediatric Nursing experience ideal
  • Clinical expertise in IV therapies with monitoring, skill and knowledge of all types of IV lines
  • Minimum 2 years management experience, proven ability to manage, train and educate staff on new protocols and existing standard operating procedures
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees in a fast-paced clinical environment and manage multiple complex projects
  • Knowledge of vascular access devices and infusion therapies
  • Knowledge of State licensed, non-certified, home health agency regulations as applicable
  • Ability to directly supervise and manage staff for a licensed home health agency as applicable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Description

The Assistant Nurse Manager plays a key leadership role in the Leadership Team, overseeing daily clinical and operational functions to ensure seamless patient care across the continuum. This role demands a dynamic leader capable of managing both clinical excellence and operational performance, all while ensuring that patient care remains the top priority. You will lead staff, drive clinical practice development, and manage patient care delivery, while being accountable for team performance, quality, safety, compliance, financials, throughput, workflow, and scheduling. Reporting to the Nurse Manager, you will develop, implement, and evaluate systems that promote high-quality, cost-effective, and safe care.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Development: 1. Foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, and mutual respect within inter-professional care teams. 2. Develop, manage, and evaluate team performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. 3. Provide education, coaching, and guidance to staff, ensuring adherence to clinical standards. 4. Support staff onboarding, competency assessment, and continuous professional development.

Clinical & Operational Management: 1. Oversee clinical and operational workflows, ensuring patient integration and service efficiency. 2. Lead quality and safety initiatives specific to your area, aligning with organizational objectives. 3. Implement and monitor financial and productivity goals within your area of responsibility.

Performance & Compliance: 1. Manage performance, providing feedback and addressing issues related to patient care and professional conduct. 2. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and organizational policies. 3. Lead continuous quality improvement efforts through data analysis and problem-solving.

Strategic & Operational Oversight: 1. Plan, prioritize, and execute operations efficiently, anticipating resource needs and achieving results within budget in partnership with the triad leadership team. 2. Address operational challenges and apply problem-solving skills to resolve issues with the triad leadership team. 3. Advocate for the optimal allocation of resources to support patient care.

Workplace Culture & Staff Well-Being: 1. Foster an inclusive and diverse work environment that values individual differences and promotes staff well-being. 2. Create and support a healthy work environment that encourages professional growth and high staff morale.

Professional Practice Oversight: 1. Actively monitor nursing practice to ensure adherence to established standards, policies, and procedures. 2. Provide ongoing education and training to nurses, ensuring up-to-date clinical skills and regulatory knowledge. 3. Advocate for patient safety and optimal care by addressing concerns regarding staffing, resources, and care delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required
  • Experience: A minimum of (3) years of professional nursing practice experience in acute and/or ambulatory care nursing practice setting with 1 year of lead, supervisory, management, and/or leadership experience in nursing and/or health system position/role.
  • Licensure: 1. Acute / Ambulatory Setting: A valid, unencumbered Registered Nursing License approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing. 2. Virtual Care Setting: If managing remote clinical care team members, active compact/multistate license (eNLC) within 60 days of hire.
  • Certifications: 1. BLS required 2. ACLS may be required for certain departments, post hire 3. Additional certifications may be required based on department and specialty Skills: 1. Proven leadership skills in a clinical setting, with experience in nursing practice oversight and team management. 2. In-depth knowledge of quality assurance, performance management, and regulatory compliance. 3.
  • Ability to create a positive, inclusive workplace and foster professional development. 4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to resolve technical and operational challenges. 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals

  • Education: Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) or related field preferred.

Job Summary: Provide leadership, direction, and oversight of the Crisis Stabilization Unit. Plan, organize and direct diversified, multidisciplinary behavioral health and substance abuse programs. Provide guidance concerning the day-today delivery of established program processes to ensure smooth operation.Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Monitors the daily admissions and discharges to the Crisis Unit and in an effort to maintain a high occupancy rate.
  • Collaborates with BHL, Community Providers and Regional DBHDD staff to ensure a coordinated system of CSU management and delivery of services.
  • Monitors program purchases, pharmaceutical costs, position requisitions and overtime usage in an effort to achieve the fiscal year budget expectations for the Crisis Unit.
  • Completes charts audits and conducts an analysis of the data in an effort to improve service delivery and clinical outcomes.
  • Performs direct care duties as needed to include nursing assessments, medication administration and crisis intervention.
  • Coordinates nursing efforts, resolves problems and maintains the daily operations of the unit.
  • Supervises, educates and coaches subordinate staff and documents supervision in an effort to promote professional growth of staff.
  • Ensures that incident reports and infection control reports are completed within 24 hours of incident occurring and follow-up.
  • Ensures proper scheduling of the unit staff to meet the needs of the individuals.
  • Facilitates In-service Trainings and staff meetings as scheduled.
  • Maintains QI reports, statistical reporting data and infection control reports for Crisis Stabilization Unit.
  • Works in close concert with CSU medical staff and the Crisis Director to ensure the highest clinical outcomes of individuals.
  • Completes additional job responsibilities as assigned by management staff.
