Job Description

The Mission of Seattle Children's Acute Care Pediatric APP fellowship's is to support newly graduated APPs to successfully enter their practice in a complex, highly collaborative pediatric setting. The APP fellowship is a 12-month limited term position which includes precepted clinical practice, multidisciplinary, comprehensive didactics, and simulation training.
Seattle Children's has a diverse and often complex patient population across the healthcare continuum. We strive to be an inclusive community that represents our patients. Our APP fellowship is essential to our commitment to train the next generation of caregivers to meet the needs of our patient population.
Fellowship training goals include:
+ Provide direct care and assume increasing responsibility for clinical management of patients in all settings within a pediatric tertiary care center
+ Obtain patient histories, perform physical examinations, order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans within the multidisciplinary team of a pediatric hospital
+ Four to five months of inpatient services with remainder of fellowship year spent in specialty rotations
+ Collaborate, refer, and consult with department attending physicians, specialists, and other members of the health care team
+ Exposure to the APP role in contributing to organizational and departmental continuous performance and quality improvement projects
+ Participate in education and research efforts for patients, families, and the health care team.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis up to 12 months in advance of a cohort start date. In order for an application to be considered for a specific cohort, it must be submitted by the closing date listed below, and candidate must be eligible to have proof of board certification 12-14 weeks prior to start date.

**Compensation Range**
$126,821 per year

ZoomCare is seeking an **Emergency Nurse Practitioner** or **Physician Assistant** to join our 9 room facility staffed by the nicest people you will ever work with!
The **Emergency Nurse Practitioner** or **Physician Assistant** is responsible for delivering top-notch advanced clinical care and superior customer service through the ZoomCare care model. This includes delivering a consistent and high quality ZoomCare experience to all patients using ZoomCare tools and methodologies.
**SCHEDULE**
+ (3) 12 hour shifts a week, 10am - 10pm.
+ Rotating weekly schedules and schedule flexibility options.
+ Clinic positions require a two-week training period, during which you will travel to various clinics in the area. Your schedule during training may differ from your standard clinic schedule.
+ Depending on the position and associated requirements, there may be additional mandatory training requirements that are outside of your scheduled shift.
**COMPENSATION**
+ Annual Salary of $148,000 - $64,000 DOE plus bonus potential and shift pay.
+ This is approximately equivalent to 79 - 87 per hour.
+ May be eligible for Sign on Bonus or Relocation Assistance

**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies with certification by the NCCPA or Masters of Science in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner, required.
+ ACLS certified, required.
+ 2+ years experience in an emergency department setting preferred working with all ages.
+ Recent experience in an emergency medicine setting within the last 5 years, preferred.
+ Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
+ Able to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
+ Excel in a fast-paced work environment, thriving under pressure and time constraints.
+ Eligible to participate in the Medicare program.
+ Must be able to demonstrate 2000 hours of work experience at the time of job offer.
**COMPENSATION PACKAGE**

**WORKING CONDITIONS**

**Qualifications**
+ Graduate of a Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited school of nursing (National League of Nursing)
+ Master's or Doctoral Degree from a program accredited by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certificate Program (ANPCP) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
+ Possess current unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in one of the fifty states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
+ Minimum of two (2) years post-graduate experience in direct patient care within the last three (3) years.
+ Possess and maintain a current certification of Basic Life Support (BLS) Training from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross training for Healthcare Providers. This training must include a "hands-on" portion and be recertified every two years.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
+ Possess computer skills necessary to access and update electronic medical documentation, access, and respond to e-mail communications, and use internet sites as required to obtain information on medical issues.
+ Ability to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate with all parties and other providers.
+ Ability to effectively plan and utilize time while administering judgment and demonstrating sound decision-making skills.
+ Possess sufficient initiative, interpersonal relationship skills, and social sensitivity.
+ Ability to complete Genesis training requirements for medical documentation.
+ Experience in collecting, organizing, recording, and communicating, while taking health histories and administering mental health screening questionnaires
+ Knowledgeable of diagnostic procedures related to a variety of medical and healthcare fields to include obstetrics and gynecology, otolaryngology, pediatric, orthopedic, internal medicine, and mental health.

In this role, you will work with a diverse team of Oncology professionals, focusing on standard Oncology clinical care (inpatient care, procedures) and engaging with patients participating in clinical trials.
