**Seeking Bilingual Spanish Nurse Practitioners licensed in TWO OR MORE of the following states: MA, VA, TN, FL, IN, OH, TX, KS, AZ, IA, NM, NJ, or HI and must have an active RN Compact license.**
**Location:** Virtual - This role enables associates to work virtually full-time, with the exception of required in-person training sessions (when indicated), providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This approach promotes productivity, supports work-life integration, and ensures essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development.
**Work Shift:** 11am - 11pm CST; The NP will work six (6) 12-hour shifts and one (1) 8-hour shift in a two-week period which includes Saturday and Sunday every other weekend.
The **Advanced Practice Provider** is responsible for collaborating with company physicians, the patient's other physicians and providers, and their family members to develop complex plans of care in accordance with the patient's health status and overall goals and values. Provides clinical and non-clinical support to patients.
Primary duties may include but are not limited to:
+ Provides primary and urgent health care via telephone and tele video modalities to patients who receive home and community-based services through state Medicaid programs, dual eligible members and other membership as assigned by our MCO partners.
+ Develops and implements clinical plans of care for adult patients facing chronic and complex conditions (e.g., co-morbid medical and mental health diagnoses, limited personal resources, chronic medical conditions.).
+ Gathers history and physical exam and diagnostics as needed and then develops and implements treatment plans given the patient's goals of care and current conditions. Identifies and closes gaps in care.
+ Meets the patient's and family's physical and psychosocial needs with support and input from the company's inter-disciplinary team.
+ Educates patients and families about medication usage, side effects, illness progression, diet and nutrition, medical adherence and crisis anticipation and prevention.
+ Maintains contact with other clinical team members, patients' other physicians and patients' other medical providers to coordinate optimal care and resources for the patient and his or her family in a timely basis and consistent with state regulations and company health standards and policy.
+ Maintains patient medical records and medical documentation consistent with state regulations and company standards and policy.
+ Participates in continuing education as required by state and certifying body.
+ Prescribes medication as permitted by state prescribing authority.
Position Requirements:
+ Requires an MS in Nursing.
+ Requires an active national NP certification.
+ Requires valid, current, active and unrestricted Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in applicable states.
+ Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) required.
+ Requires 2+ years of experience in managing complex care cases.
+ Bilingual or Multi-language skills required.
Preferred qualifications, skills and experiences:
+ Emergency Room and/or Urgent Care experience is strongly preferred.
+ Possession of DEA registration or eligibility preferred.
+ Experience in managing complex care cases for developmental disabilities and chronically ill patients is strongly preferred.
For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $07,680 to 154,790

Responsibilities
The Advanced Practice Provider reports directly to the Director of Clinical Practice and/or the Area Clinical Practice Manager. The Advanced Practice Provider provides primary and urgent care services to nursing center residents in collaboration with the other medical providers in the center. Qualifications
The Advanced Practice Provider must be a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing program, licensed as a registered nurse, certified as a Nurse Practitioner by being a nursing graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program with a Master's Degree in Nursing and have a concentration and specialty track of Older Adult and/or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Will consider other concentrations/specialty tracks based on experience and business need. The Physician Assistant must be a graduate from a program accredited by the ARC-PA and take the PA National Certifying Exam (PANCE) to use the PAC designation. PA state licensure required. NCCPA certification required.
A minimum of two years experience working with adult or geriatric population is preferred.
In states where practice allows; APRN with an unrestricted professional license and DEA, for each state in which they practice. PA with an unrestricted professional license and DEA for each state in which they practice.

We provide a full range of outpatient and inpatient pulmonary services to adult & geriatric patients with asthma, COPD, lung nodules/cancer, secondary pulmonary hypertension, interstitial lung disease, sleep apnea. Procedures include (but not limited to) bronchoscopy, EBUS, navigational bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, chest tube placement and management, pulmonary function tests.

Spring students are in clinic between the dates of 12/4/25 and 5/28/26. For clinical dates before 12/4/25, the deadline has passed. For clinical dates after 5/28/26, you'll need to apply at a later time. Please refer to the CVS Health Clinical Student page to confirm when your application should be submitted for future trimesters. **For any dates requested outside of 12/4/25 - 5/28/26, your application will not be considered** .
Minimum number of student hours for a clinical rotation: 50 hours
Maximum number of student hours for a clinical rotation: 240 hours
Your CV will be required to submit with your survey which is the next step of this process (see Next Steps below). At that time it WILL be required to be considered for placement.

**Clinical Rotation Description:**
This clinical rotation prepares Family Nurse Practitioner students for ambulatory care settings. MinuteClinic accomplishes this goal by not only meeting the academic standards of the school, but by providing students with a well-rounded experience that includes specialized online training, patient interaction, visibility to our EMR and the opportunity to work in a new and exciting model of health care. Our preceptors have a passion for teaching and sharing their knowledge. All of our providers have exceptional clinical skills and are experts in the operational skills required to run their own clinic. MinuteClinic's student clinical program offers the most unique experience available, because you are doing more than just enhancing your clinical skills: Practical education including clinic operations, public relations, marketing, insurance procedures, and use of evidence based guidelines. Students will gain exposure in an ambulatory care setting and develop an understanding of how these clinics fit into the current structure of health care delivery. You'll develop an understanding of how our corporate office relates to and supports our clinical practice. Most MinuteClinic locations are open 7 days a week and our providers' schedules are compressed, so clinical days can vary from week-to-week. Clinic locations may also vary depending on schedule of your assigned preceptor.
**Required Qualifications :**
To participate, you must be enrolled in a Family Nurse Practitioner program that already has an executed Affiliation Agreement with MinuteClinic. FNP students must have an RN license in the state in which they will be precepting. We will also verify with your program faculty that you are eligible for a clinical rotation at MinuteClinic.
