**Job Summary:**
The Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting the Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) team at Panasonic Energy. This internship provides exposure to OHS programs, risk assessments, regulatory compliance, and workplace safety initiatives within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The intern will assist in maintaining a safe workplace by supporting inspections, audits, training initiatives, and safety campaigns. This program is designed for motivated students or recent graduates seeking practical experience in occupational health, safety, and regulatory compliance.
**Internship Details:**
+ 12-week Program: Monday, May 18th - Friday, August 7th (dates are subject to change)
+ The program will be a full-time paid summer internship working for Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America onsite in DeSoto, KS

**Qualifications: Required and/or Preferred**
**Education:**

+ Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of OHS and EH&S policies and procedures

Wage Transparency

In accordance with the Maryland Wage Transparency Law, the base salary range for this position is: $130,000.00 - $170,000.00

Licensure: A current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States; and you must have passed the National Council Licensure Examination.

Foreign Degree: Graduates of foreign nursing schools must have completed the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools Certification Program. The certification program consists of a credentials evaluation, the CGFNS Qualifying Exam, and evidence of passing one of the approved English Language Proficiency examinations. A copy of the CGFNS Certificate is required.

Exemption: You are exempt from the basic requirements above if you are a current federal employee occupying a position in the 0610 occupational series and have been continuously employed in this occupational series since September 27, 2017 or before. Currently we are seeking full-time, BC/BE Occupational Medicine physicians to join our teams in the following locations:

  • Folsom (part-time)
  • Fresno
  • Manteca
  • Richmond
  • South Sacramento (part-time)
  • Vacaville
  • Vallejo


Full-time annual salary range is $317,520 to $27,000 plus additional potential incentives of 22,460*. Reduced schedules with pro-rated compensation may be available. *Additional incentive opportunities are available based on geographic location, experience and include potential premium pay.


Per Diem opportunities available at:

  • Vacaville


Per Diem salary range is 155 to 160 per hour.
