A
Superintendent is responsible for the overall leadership of on-site
construction operations. This position
will provide supervision and technical management of subcontractors and other
construction related personnel, and include the planning, coordination and
execution of the work so that projects are completed in a high quality and safe
manner, meeting budget and schedule objectives.

Essential
Duties & Responsibilities

• Enforce the Company's safety
  program in accordance with the company's best practice policies, local,
  state, and federal laws.
• Develop new and maintain existing
  business relationships with Owners, Architect/Engineers, Construction
  Managers and Subcontractors as necessary to ensure future business
  opportunities.
• Team with the Project Managers to structure
  to the project team, develop objectives/goals and assign individual areas
  of responsibility to ensure on-time project completion by working with
  project team to manage schedule, material deliveries and manpower on site.
  
• Participate in the preconstruction
  and bidding process, providing constructability, schedule and process
  input. Partner with the Proposal
  Management team and actively participate in interviews and
  presentations.
• Work with the project scheduler to
  develop the initial schedule and evaluate and update monthly, schedules as
  required to ensure that construction activities progress according to
  schedule.
• Work with the Project Manager
  during procurement to review and provide feedback on subcontractor's scope
  of work.
• Develop a complete understanding
  of subcontractor's contractual scope of work to avoid unnecessary change
  orders. Ensure all subcontractors
  are working with the latest set of documents and supplemental
  information.
• Communicate with Architect, Owner
  and/or Construction Manager on construction issues, attend Owner's
  meetings on a regularly scheduled basis.
• Review contract documents for
  conflicts, constructability or clarification needs.
• Provide project oversight anticipating and avoiding potential issues
  that can negatively impact schedule and budget.
• Implement and enforce the
  Company's quality control program to achieve quality workmanship in
  accordance with project requirements.
  
• Prepare for and lead
  preconstruction meetings with all subcontractors in preparation for the
  start of each feature of work.
• Participate in the preparation of
  and present in the monthly company Project Reviews, confirming proper
  presentation of project risks and financial management.
• Monitor the submittal and request
  for information processes, to ensure project requirements are met.
• Track permits and manage
  inspection process for all required agencies and permit types (Building,
  Trade, Use and Occupancy, etc.) as required.
• Manage project close out to
  include required inspections, commissioning and completion of punch list.
• Manage and control budget for
  general conditions and labor costs on the site.
• Maintain "as-built" documents
  throughout duration of the project.
• Mentor and train project team
  members to support their growth and development within the Company.
• Use latest technology and software
  to complete projects as assigned.

Knowledge,
Experience, and Special Skills Required

• At least five (5) years of
  experience in managing construction projects in excess of Twenty (20)
  Million Dollars.
• Proven track record with client
  satisfaction and profitability.
• OSHA 30 hour, First Aid and CPR
  certifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Procore, and Bluebeam as
  well as an understanding of Primavera scheduling and BIM
• Strong written and verbal
  communications skills, and ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend
  English.
• Ability to assess and prioritize
  multiple tasks, projects, and demands.
• Excellent organizational and
  interpersonal skills.

Wage Transparency

In accordance with the Maryland Wage Transparency Law, the base salary range for this position is: $90,000.00 - $160,000.00

CALIDAD

1. Originar, revisar y/o aprobar Procedimientos Operativos Estándar (SOP’s), políticas, guías, instrucciones especiales, protocolos que contemplan las tareas a ser realizadas de acuerdo a la operación y en cumplimiento con las reglamentaciones correspondientes. Activar y distribuir los SOP’s.

5. Establecer un plan, en conjunto con el supervisor del área afectada, para completar todas las actividades relacionadas a asegurar la garantía y cumplimiento con la reglamentación y políticas de la empresa. 8. Mantener la vigencia de las licencias mandatorias.
9. Coordinar servicios de inspección y certificación para cumplimientos y renovación de licencias y permisología.
10. Coordinar decomisación de materiales peligrosos y reporte anual a la JCA con las respectivas cuentas de logística.
11. Revisar y aprobar las investigaciones relacionadas a desviaciones de procesos.
12. Preparar, coordinar y ejecutar adiestramientos para los empleados sobre los procedimientos y guías reglamentarias relacionadas a calidad y salud y seguridad.
13. Colaborar con los departamentos operacionales para la mejora de los procesos.
14. Servir como intermediario entre las agencias reglamentarias y la empresa en el manejo de situaciones relacionadas a la calidad de los productos; entre los suplidores/manufactureros en el manejo de las reclamaciones de productos y eventos relacionados a la calidad de los productos.

SALUD Y SEGURIDAD OCUPACIONAL

1. Implementar y mantener programas de seguridad ocupacional, promoviendo una cultura de seguridad en el lugar de trabajo.
2. Realizar evaluaciones de riesgos laborales y garantizar que se implementen medidas correctivas adecuadas.
3. Monitorear el cumplimiento de las normas de seguridad y salud ocupacional (por ejemplo, OSHA, legislación local).
4. Capacitar al personal en temas relacionados con la seguridad y prevención de riesgos laborales.

Job Summary

The nurse provides clinical and administrative support for the operation of a comprehensive, on-site occupational health service for research and development operations. This includes both clinical nursing and administrative support of occupational health programs. The nurse is part of the emergency response team for both biological and chemical laboratories. Key Qualifications

• Requires an Associate's degree (or higher) in nursing. Two years of nursing experience in employee heath, occupational health, emergency medicine, urgent care, case management, critical care or a related area is required.

• Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Ohio is required.

• Must be capable of using respiratory protection and protective clothing in an emergency response capacity.

• Ability to work in complex research setting with personnel from diverse disciplines, along with superior organization and clinical management skills are required.

• Ability to learn potential hazards of biological and chemical agents and provide medical support

• Ability to travel to attend required training up to two weeks per year

• Willingness to support work outside normal business hours several times per year
