Description
GENERAL PURPOSE
This position is responsible for the accurate weighing of all linen received from and sent back to clients. Is also responsible for entering data applicable to soiled and/or clean linen into the system. Also monitors the soil section and helps maintain consistent workflow on the production floor. Always assists with maintaining the Soil area clean.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for proper weighing of clean and soil linen.
- Keeping the weighing area clean.
- Proper data entry - pounds of linen into a data program.
- Proper entry of client numbers into the system.
- Responsible for staging carts within the production floor.
- Assists in maintaining a good workflow on the production floor.
- Help drivers with bin carts when assigned by management.
- Assisting supervisors as requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Two years of experience preferably in a commercial Laundry; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent communication skills are required.
- Highly organized with the ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
- Must possess superior attention to detail skills.
- Results-oriented, with effective problem solving, and reasoning ability.
- Demonstrated experience communicating effectively with all levels and cultures and in all formats written, verbal, presentation, and must have strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated good judgment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills.

Responsible for maintaining the organization's warehouse equipment.
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and Raymond lift trucks.
+ Perform all assigned planned maintenance on organizations lift trucks, batteries and accessories.
+ Maintain MHE parts inventory and shop.
+ Process work order in Maintenance software after completion of each job.
**Education Required:**
High School Diploma or equivalent
**Experience Required:**
3+ years of experience with good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of warehouse material handling equipment, electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
**Experience Preferred:**
Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
**Licenses/Certification Required:**
Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate all warehouse equipment.

Herc-U-Lift, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our service and repair team. This is a fast-paced position that needs an experienced, take-charge individual with a proven track record.
The primary function of a Field Service Technician is to travel to customer locations and repair their material handling equipment, MEWPs and rail car movers. You are required to respond to customer needs in a positive, caring and timely manner, and build rapport with customers through technical expertise and communication skills to ensure customer feeling of satisfaction through value received.
You will manage your job as though it were a small business. You will be dispatched to jobs from your home using a company van and will coordinate with the service dispatch team and report on your jobs via a tablet.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
- Complete a diagnosis of any mechanical, electrical, or other breakdown or failure of material handling equipment (forklifts, mobile elevating work platforms MEWPS, rail car movers, rough terrain lifts).
- Performs disassembly, repair and reassembly of engines, transmissions, differentials, clutches, brakes, electrical systems, fuel systems, couplers, and any other part of material handling equipment and rail car movers.
- Works with the parts department to order and install replacement parts for machines.
- Maintain technical knowledge of all equipment brands.
- Use all tools of the trade, including precision instruments, welding equipment, shop machines and power tools in making adjustments or repairs.
- Requires little supervision and is able to assist others in the trade.
- Maintains your own parts inventory based on the parts you carry in your van.
- Follow all safety protocols.
- Complete and submit all required paperwork.
- Provide the best possible customer service, including offering additional services.
- Manage your workload effectively.
